摘要： A vehicle includes a chassis and a vehicle body supported by the chassis. At least one dynamically adjustable body mount connects the vehicle body to the chassis. The at least one dynamically adjustable body mount includes a selectively adjustable parameter. One or more vehicle sensors is associated with the vehicle. The one or more vehicle sensors is operable to detect one or more vehicle parameters. A control system is operatively connected to the at least one dynamically adjustable body mount and the one or more vehicle sensors. The control system is operable to alter the selectively adjustable parameter of the at least one dynamically adjustable body mount to substantially isolate the body from road and vehicle induced vibration in response to at least one of the one or more vehicle parameters and the one or more road surface parameters.

摘要： A variable rate bound stopper includes a bound stopper in the form of an elastomer member. The elastomer member has an aperture such that the bound stopper is configured to be positioned over and disposed around a piston rod of a shock absorber. A shape memory alloy (SMA) coil formed from an SMA wire extends around at least a portion of the elastomer member. The SMA coil has a relaxed state and an activated state. The SMA coil constrains the elastomer member from deforming radially outward and alters an intrinsic spring rate of the bound stopper when in the activated state.

摘要： An elastic chassis link for a vehicle is disclosed. The elastic chassis link includes a sliding joint having first and second sliding joint rods. The joint rods are movable axially relative to each other in order to change the rigidity of the elastic chassis link. The first sliding joint rod is connected to a piston that is arranged axially and movable axially within a piston space within second sliding joint rod. The piston divides the piston space into two chambers that interact with a damping element, such as fluid, within each chamber.

The parallel on-off valve maintains communication between a left side first fluid room of the left cylinder and a right side first fluid room of the right cylinder and maintains communication between a left side second fluid room of the left cylinder and a right side second fluid room of the right cylinder by opening itself. The parallel on-off valve cuts off the communication by closing itself. The valve controller switches an opening/closing state of the parallel on-off valve based on a running state of a vehicle or an operation state of the vehicle by a driver.

摘要： A regenerative shock absorber that include a housing and a piston that moves at least partially through the housing when the shock is compressed or extended from a rest position. When the piston moves, hydraulic fluid is pressurized and drives a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor, in turn, drives an electric generator that produced electric energy. The electric energy may be provided to a vehicle, among other things. The regenerative shock absorber may also provide ride performance that comparable to or exceeds that of conventional shock absorbers.

An adjustor includes an accommodation chamber accommodating a fluid to adjust a length of the spring based on the fluid amount in the accommodation chamber. A storage chamber stores the fluid. A pump includes a cylinder that takes in the fluid in the storage chamber when a distance between a vehicle body and a vehicle wheel increases, and that discharges the fluid when the distance decreases. A passage switch unit switches among a first state in which the fluid discharged from the pump is guided into the accommodation chamber to increase the fluid amount in the accommodation chamber, a second state in which the fluid in the accommodation chamber is guided into the storage chamber to decrease the fluid amount, and a third state in which the fluid amount is maintained. Without electric current supply, the third state is maintained.
