    • An air conditioning apparatus has, a first domed door comprising a first pivot and a first sealing surface, and a second domed door comprising a second pivot and a second sealing surface, wherein, said second pivot is positioned different from said second pivot. With the above structure, the radial gap between the first sealing surface and the second sealing surface is varied when at least one of the two domed doors is moved. Accordingly, the air conditioning apparatus described above does not have to set the constant small radial gap or constant wide radial gap for the sake of reducing unintentional air leaking or preventing said friction.

    • A heating and air conditioning device for motor-vehicles, comprises a unit for suctioning and supplying air (13) and a heating and air conditioning unit (1), including a heater (2) and an evaporator (3) and a mixing lid (4) for distributing the airflow coming from the supply unit (13) between said heater (2) and said evaporator (3). The heating and air conditioning unit comprises a single moveable element for distributing the conditioned airflow between one or more outlets arranged along a dashboard of a motor-vehicle, respectively adjacent to the windscreen, at the front on the dashboard or adjacent to the floor of the cabin of the motor-vehicle, to respectively actuate the DEFROST, VENT, FLOOR functions or their combination. At least part of the air supply unit (13), preferably at least one air intake (14) and one pipe (15) for supplying air including an air filter (16), and borne by a bodywork connected to a front bonnet (22) of the motor-vehicle which closes the engine compartment at the upper part.

    • An air-outlet mode selecting device includes first and second rotary doors. Each of the first and second rotary doors has rotary shafts separated from each other in an axial direction of the rotary shafts, an outer peripheral door surface that is provided at a position separated radial outward from the center line of the rotary shafts and is turned with the rotary shafts, and left and right side plates for connecting both ends in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface and the rotary shafts. One of the first and second rotary doors opens and closes a specified opening among three openings and other rotary door opens and closes the remaining two openings among the three openings. Accordingly, door operation force and air flow resistance can be effectively reduced, and the size of the air-outlet mode selecting device can be effectively reduced.
