摘要： A method for controlling engagement of a power take-off (PTO) clutch of a work vehicle may generally include transmitting, by a computing device, a control signal associated with initiating engagement of the PTO clutch, determining a clutch slippage energy generated during engagement of the PTO clutch due to clutch slippage and, while the PTO clutch is getting engaged, calculating a clutch engagement time remaining until engagement of the PTO clutch is completed based on the clutch slippage energy and a maximum clutch engagement energy associated with the PTO clutch. In addition, the method may include determining a torque command for controlling engagement of the PTO clutch as a function of the remaining clutch engagement time and controlling the engagement of the PTO clutch based on the torque command.

摘要： A method and device for operating a powertrain of a motor vehicle are provided, wherein the powertrain includes an internal combustion engine, a transmission and a friction clutch arranged there between in order to control a power flow between the internal combustion engine and the transmission. The method includes the steps of detecting clutch judder, analysing clutch judder, and determining a type of clutch judder. Based on determined type of clutch judder the method further includes selecting a udder countermeasure from a number of predetermined judder countermeasures and executing selected judder countermeasure. Detected clutch judder can be taken care of in an efficient way and future clutch judder may be prevented.

摘要： In a control device for a limited slip differential that limits a differential operation of front and rear wheels of a four-wheel-drive vehicle having mounted thereon a vehicle behavior control device that controls a braking force, an ECU that controls a torque coupling as the limited slip differential includes: a differential limiting force calculating device that calculates target torque of the torque coupling based on a vehicle traveling state; a differential limiting force correcting device that makes a correction to reduce the target torque based on a command from the vehicle behavior control device; and a thermal load calculating device that calculates a thermal load of the torque coupling. The differential limiting force correcting device limits the correction of the target torque based on the command from the vehicle behavior control device, when the thermal load of the torque coupling is equal to or larger than a predetermined value.

摘要： Initial variation learning control is executed when learning condition is satisfied each time of its satisfaction, to absorb initial variations of manufacturing errors or variations of components of second clutch (CL2). When the number of times of total learning is counted and this becomes predetermined number (e.g. five times), initial variation learning control is judged to be converged. On the basis of condition of this convergence, so-called vertical sliding speed control returning belt (50) of variator (V) to LOWEST transmission ratio position is performed. With this, vertical sliding speed control is not performed in state in which excessively large torque acts on second clutch, and durability of belt and pulley is increased. It is therefore possible to prevent vertical sliding speed control from being performed in state in which input torque is predetermined value or greater, and possible to improve response of accelerator operation after performing vertical sliding speed control.

摘要： Clutch protection systems and methods include calculating a slip of a clutch of a manual transmission based on an input rotational velocity of a flywheel coupled to a torque generating system. The calculated slip is used to calculate an energy into the clutch. In one implementation, an accumulated energy into the clutch is calculated based on a rate of the calculated energy and a torque request for the torque generating system is limited based on the accumulated energy. In one implementation, an energy capacity remaining in the clutch until a threshold indicative of damage occurring is calculated based on the calculated energy and a limited torque request for the torque generating system is generated. The limited torque request corresponds to an amount of allowable torque before full cutch engagement occurs, where this time is calculable based on a rate at which the clutch slip is decreasing.
