摘要： A system for extracting a liquid from a container. The system comprises a liquid extraction member including a liquid extraction inlet and one or more liquid extraction outlets. The system additionally includes one or more storage vessels each defining a liquid storage inlet coupled in fluid flow communication with the extraction member via one of the liquid extraction outlets. The system additionally includes a pressure differential device operable to cause liquid to flow from the container, through the liquid extraction member, and into one or more of the storage vessels. Furthermore, the system includes one or more fluid restrictors associated with the liquid extraction member and configured to prevent fluid flow in at least one direction through the liquid extraction member to prevent liquid in the liquid extraction member from receding from the liquid extraction member back into the container.

摘要： A system for the provision of container blocks of fluid to locations in need of said fluid in which system the containers also function as structural elements. The system further comprises structural elements that complement the fluid container blocks, including base tracks, roof rafters, roof material, door and window flap materials. Connecting clips and anchoring spikes function to secure the fluid blocks together and to the ground to form a solid structure. The system provides the means to deliver an emergency supply of water or other fluid to a disaster area or underdeveloped location along with the means to erect temporary structures for shelter using the container blocks as the basic structural element.

The manway cover assembly can have a tightening system, such as a screw tightening system and an attachment system. The attachment system can have a ledge configured to engage a flange that surrounds an opening. A cover can control access to the opening. The tightening system can secure the ledge to the flange and lock the cover over the opening. A manway cover assembly can also be used for selectively sealing an access passageway of a tank. The manway cover assembly can have an internal seal that remains sealed independent of movement between the cover and the opening within a set range of movement.
