摘要： A fluid dispenser with a fluid pump for dispensing fluid on movement of an actuator, and an air pump for delivering a stream of air through at least one sound generator on movement of the actuator. The sound generator produces at least two sounds as the actuator is moved from a first position to a second position, with each sound produced in a different time period during a cycle of operation, or differing from the other sound in respect of one or more detectable sound characteristics, such as duration, frequency, temporal alignment, amplitude, and/or timbre. The time period of each sound is a function of the relative location of the actuator between the first and second positions.

摘要： A system for capture of dose delivery information is provided. The system includes a medication delivery device, a dose information capture device adapted to be attached to the medication delivery device, and a target element adapted to be attached to the medication delivery device. The target element comprises a magnet or ferrous element and the target element attaches to the medication delivery device on a dose delivery mechanism of the medication delivery device. The dose information capture device includes a magnetic position sensor adapted to detect a position of the target element. As an alternative to magnetic sensing, MEMS flow sensors, and the like may also be used. Exemplary systems preferably transmit dose information in real time to remote devices for further processing.

A first cam surface and a second cam surface are connected to the pump engagement body, at least one of the first cam surface and the second cam surface comprising an adjustable cam surface whose location relative to the pump engagement body is selectively adjustable. A camming body engages with the first cam surface and the second cam surface to effect movement of the pump engagement body, and a dose adjustment mechanism allows the location of the adjustable cam surface relative to the pump engagement body to be selected.

Material is provided to the cylinder (52) through a flow path extending through the pump rod (48). The piston (54) drives material downstream out of the cylinder (52), and the interface between the piston (54) and the inner surface of the cylinder (52) provides a dynamic seal during pumping. The flow of material into and out of the pump (38) is controlled by actively-controlled inlet and outlet valves.
