摘要： An automated method and system for a conveyor holding system for holding vials of a multi-vial order in a holding pattern until all vials of the order have been filled by an automatic pill counter. The system uses RFID information to divert vials off the conveyor into the conveyor holding loop if all vials of the multi-vial order have not been filled. The system is adapted to divert the vials of the multi-vial order out of the holding loop when all vials of the multi-vial order have been filled.

A controller is configured to perform a first determining operation, a second determining operation, and a third determining operation. The first determining operation is an operation in which an attitude and position of an article placed in the support member is determined based on image information from the imaging device. The second determining operation is an operation in which it is determined whether it is possible to place a target article in the support member in an attitude and position indicated by arrangement information based on arrangement information and attitude and position information obtained in the first determining operation. The third determining operation is an operation in which it is determined whether an article W is properly placed in the support member based on the arrangement information, weight information, the attitude and position information, and measured weight information measured by the weighing device.

摘要： A conveyor having an article-diverting device with left-handed and right-handed spirals rotated in the same direction to transport articles in a first direction or in opposite directions to transport articles in a different second direction. The left-handed spirals are arranged alternately and parallel to the right-handed spirals. Rotating all the spirals at the same speed in the same direction in one version of the conveyor passes articles straight across the spirals perpendicular to the axes of rotation of the spirals. Rotating the left-handed spirals opposite to the right-handed spirals diverts the articles atop the spirals parallel to their axes of rotation. In other versions, one set of spirals is constantly rotated and the other set is actuated by geared engagement into and out of rotation in the opposite direction or by raising and lowering into and out of position in contact with articles.

摘要： A method and control system are provided for controlling a modular conveyor system, which may be networked together with other such systems in order to implement a control strategy for a modular conveyor system. The control system comprises a communications port for interconnection of the control system with a network for sending outgoing addressed data to other devices on the address-based network and for receiving incoming addressed data from other devices. The control system further comprises a logic system, which may receive a signal from an object sensor and provide a control signal or output adapted to control activation of a motorized roller assembly, based on an input signal from the object sensor or the communications port. The logic system may provide for single step operation whereby system troubleshooting may be facilitated, and in addition may provide situation aware and output value source selection functionality.
