    • A printing apparatus comprises a feeding roller, a conveyance roller, a printing unit configured to print the printing sheet, a conveyance control unit configured to control conveyance of printing sheets so that a trailing edge of a preceding sheet and a leading edge of a succeeding sheet overlap each other, and a determination unit configured to determine whether to convey the succeeding sheet to a position facing the printing unit while keeping an overlap state between the preceding sheet and the succeeding sheet, wherein if a non-printing area of the succeeding sheet cannot be detected before a printing operation of a last row of the preceding sheet, the conveyance control unit controls to convey the preceding sheet while feeding of the succeeding sheet stops, and to convey only the succeeding sheet to the position facing the printing unit.

    • A system for singly dispensing fibrous filters from bulk includes a grasping tool having a handle with a working end and a container with an opening. The opening has an edge, and at least a portion of the edge or an edge trim member is shaped so that bulk fibrous filters cannot pass freely through the opening in the container when they are inside and so that at least a portion of a top filter is accessible and graspable by the working end of the grasping tool. The edge trim member has a downwardly extending wall and tab members extending inward from the wall. The edge of the opening of the container has cutouts for receiving the tab members. The tab members can pass freely through the cutouts so that the edge trim member and the tab members can rotate freely relative to the container to define a locked position with the tab members underneath the edge of the opening so that the trim member can be releasably secured to the container. The edge trim member has a planer platform for rotating the trim member relative to the container and so that a user can move the container and the trim member together as a single unit. The planer platform has a cutout extending therethrough. The handle of the grasping tool includes a planer body with a front end with a pick extending outwardly therefrom and a tongue extending obliquely from the body. The cutout of the planer platform receives the tongue to releasably secure the grasping tool to the platform.

    • To provide a structure for coupling a rotary actuator to a driven body whereby vibration and noise are reduced and assembly, disassembly, and maintenance after attachment to another device are made easy. This structure comprises the following: support parts laid out opposite a frame; a driven body positioned between said support parts; a shaft that holds said driven body and acts as a rotary shaft; and a rotary actuator coupled to said shaft. One end of the shaft is rotatably supported by one of the support parts, and the other end of the shaft is supported by being coupled to the rotary actuator through the opposing frame by being fitted into a tubular recess formed in the output shaft of the rotary actuator. A protrusion that is formed on the rotary actuator and cushioned in the direction of rotation is fitted into an engagement hole in the frame so as to affix the rotary actuator to the frame.
