摘要： The invention provides an acrylic resin-based transparent substrate having an alignment layer spread thereon, wherein the photo-alignment layer and the substrate are kept tightly bonded to each other. The invention also provides a layered body having an acrylic resin-containing transparent substrate and, as formed on one surface of the transparent substrate by spreading and bonding thereto, a photo-alignment layer containing photo-responsive molecules capable of responding to light. According to the invention, there can be provided an acrylic resin-based transparent substrate having on the surface thereof, a photo-alignment layer having excellent adhesion force and containing photo-responsive molecules capable of responding to light.

摘要： A continuous process for producing high pressure polyethylene is described. The process includes contacting first amounts of ethylene, an optional polar comonomer, and a first C2 to C12 modifier in the presence of a first amount of initiator in a reaction system under polymerization conditions to form a reaction system effluent comprising a first polyethylene resin having a first concentration of unreacted monomer therein; and directing an ethylene stream and the reaction system effluent to a pressure separation unit operated at separation conditions thereby removing at least a portion of the unreacted monomer from the reaction system effluent.

Once formed, the emulsion can be used to form an oxygen scavenging packaging article by coating at least one surface of the packaging article or contacting two surfaces of the packaging article with the emulsion, and evaporating water from the emulsion-coated or -contacted surface, to form a polymer coating.

摘要： This invention deals with new unsaturated ester-amides of .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated polycarboxylic acids derived from halogenated alcohols of the formula ##EQU1## wherein R is a divalent hydrocarbon moiety having at least one and no more than 10 carbon atoms, X is a member selected from the class of bromine and chlorine, and R' is a member selected from the class of hydrogen and a monovalent hydrocarbon containing at least one and no more than 20 carbon atoms. Typical ester-amides are the maleates, fumarates, itaconates and citraconates. These monomers possess fire-retardant properties and are useful for the synthesis of polymers and copolymers.

摘要： Disclosed are a novel (meth)acrylate having an alkenyl group, a novel epoxy(meth)acrylate, and processes for the preparation thereof. The (meth)acrylate having an alkenyl group of the present invention can be preferably used as resins for coatings, photo-curable resins, and adhesives by (co)polymerization thereof in the presence or absence of a variety of (meth)acrylic monomers, and the (meth)acrylate compound having an alkenyl group is useful as a silane coupling agent, a starting material for epoxy (meth)acrylates, a modifier for silicone resins, a modifier for unsaturated polyester resins, and a crosslinking agent for acrylic rubbers. The epoxy(meth)acrylate has a well-balanced excellent property between a pot life and reactivity in curing, and it does not contain chlorine, resulting in that a resin therefrom is excellent in an anti-corrosive property and an anti-yellowing property. Still further, the present invention relates to a (meth)acrylic resin having alkenyl groups as side chains, a (meth)acrylic resin having epoxy groups as side chains, and processes thereof. In addition, the present invention relates to a thermosetting resin composition, a coating composition and a powder coating composition which have anti-corrosive properties to substrates and anti-yellowing properties in coating layers.
