The process also includes forming a functionalized lactide monomer from the dimethylidene lactide molecule. The process includes forming a mixture that includes the functionalized lactide monomer and a bisphenol A (BPA) monomer or a BPA-derived monomer. The process further includes polymerizing the mixture to form a lactide copolymer.

摘要： A thermal expandability adjuster is provided which contains a glycoluril derivative compound represented by formula (1) below. The thermal expandability adjuster can reduce the linear thermal expansion coefficient of a cured product of a thermoset resin composition used for an insulating resin layer or the like and is effective for suppressing deformation of a circuit substrate due to heating. Compounding the above thermal expandability adjuster can reduce the linear thermal expansion coefficient of a cured product obtained by curing a thermoset resin composition and it is therefore possible to provide a member that exhibits small deformation due to heat.

摘要： Isosorbide-derived epoxies and methods of making same are disclosed. Isosorbide and its isomers are attached to glycidyl ether to make crosslinkable epoxy resin monomers. Adding the hydrophobic functional group into the backbone of isosorbide epoxy or adjusting the amount and type of crosslinker is operable to modify the mechanical properties and water uptake ratio (from 50 wt %) of the isosorbide-derived epoxies for different uses. High water uptake epoxies with controllable biodegradation rate are suitable for drug delivery systems or extracellular matrices for biomedical applications, while low water uptake epoxies with strong mechanical properties may be used for can coatings, bone cements and other industrial additives and adhesives.

The resin composition comprises an insulating resin having an aromatic ring, wherein the insulating resin having an aromatic ring has a molecular weight between crosslinking sites of 300 to 1,000 on the stage after the production of the laminate, as determined from an elastic shear modulus of the insulating resin measured at a temperature of Tg or higher.
