摘要： Disclosed is a mixture comprising the compound trans-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene and at least one additional compound selected from the group consisting of HFOs, HFCs, HFEs, CFCs, CO2, olefins, organic acids, alcohols, hydrocarbons, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, and others such as methyl formate, formic acid, trans-1,2 dichloroethylene, carbon dioxide, cis-HFO-1234ze+HFO-1225yez, mixtures of these plus water; mixtures of these plus CO2; mixtures of these trans 1,2-dichloroethylene (DCE); mixtures of these plus methyl formate; mixtures with cis-HFO-1234ze+CO2, mixtures with cis-HFO-1234ze+HFO-1225yez+CO2, and mixtures with cis-HFO-1234ze+HFC-245fa. Also disclosed are methods of using and products of using the above compositions as blowing agents, solvents, heat transfer compositions, aerosol propellant compositions, fire extinguishing and suppressant compositions.

A phenolic resin foam comprises: cyclopentane; and a high-boiling hydrocarbon with a boiling point of 140° C. or more and 350° C. or less, and has a density of 10 kg/m3 or more and 150 kg/m3 or less. The content of the cyclopentane in the phenolic resin foam is 0.25 mol to 0.85 mol per a space volume of 22.4×10−3 m3 in the phenolic resin foam.

摘要： A styrene resin extruded foam includes a styrene resin, a flame retarder, a hydrofluoroolefin, an alcohol, and at least one selected from the group consisting of a saturated hydrocarbon having 3 to 5 carbon atoms, dimethyl ether, and alkyl chloride. An amount of the flame retarder is 0.5 to 8.0 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the styrene resin. The styrene resin extruded foam has an apparent density of 20 to 45 kg/m3 and a closed cell ratio of not less than 90%. An amount of the hydrofluoroolefin added is 65 to 90 mol % relative to 100 mol % in total of the hydrofluoroolefin and the alcohol which are added. An amount of the alcohol added is 10 to 35 mol % relative to 100 mol % in total of the hydrofluoroolefin and the alcohol which are added.

The composition includes an infrared attenuation agent composition comprising conductive polymers to achieve an XPS foam having an improved thermal insulation performance. In some exemplary embodiments, the conductive polymers comprise doped polypyrrole and doped polyanniline. In some exemplary embodiments, the XPS foam includes a carbon dioxide-based blowing agent.

摘要： An azeotropic-like composition containing 2-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene and 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is provided. The azeotropic-like composition according to the present invention is non-flammable, has little influence on the environment, and has substantially the same composition ratio in the liquid phase and the gas phase. By use of an azeotropic-like composition according to the present invention, a washing detergent, a solvent, a silicone solvent, a foaming agent, a coolant, a heating medium for a heat pump, and a high temperature working fluid that are non-flammable, have little influence on the environment, and have substantially the same composition ratio in a liquid phase and a gas phase thereof may be provided.

摘要： The present invention relates to foam products made with blowing agent compositions comprising at least one hydrochlorofluoroolefin (HCFO) used in the preparation of foamable thermoplastic compositions. The HCFOs of the present invention include, but are not limited to, 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233zd), particularly the trans-isomer, 2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233xf), dichloro-fluorinated propenes, and mixtures thereof. The blowing agent compositions of the present invention are used with coblowing agents including carbon dioxide, atmospheric gases, hydrofluorocarbons (HFC), hydrofluoroolefins (HFO), alkanes, hydrofluoroethers (HFE), and mixtures thereof. Preferred HFCs used as coblowing agents in the present invention include, but are not limited too, 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a), 1,1-difluoroethane (HFC-152a), 1,1,1-trifluoroethane (HFC-143a), pentafluorethane (HFC-125), difluoromethane (HFC-32). The blowing agent compositions are useful in the production of low density insulating foams with improved k-factor.
