摘要： A process for forming an impact-modified flame retardant polymer fillers, as well as the impact-modified flame retardant polymer filler, are disclosed. A polymer filler is an additive that can be added to a polymer matrix. The polymer filler can be mixed or otherwise incorporated into a polymer to modify the properties of a polymer matrix to create the flame retardant material. The impact-modified flame retardant polymer fillers can include an impact-modified hydroxyapatite filler.

摘要： A method for preparing a “preblend” of nano-structured carbon, such as nanotubes, fullerenes, or graphene, and a particulate solid, such as polymer beads, carbon black, graphitic particles or glassy carbon involving wet-mixing and followed by optional drying to remove the liquid medium. The preblend may be in the form of a core-shell powder material with the nano-structured carbon as the shell on the particulate solid core. The preblend may provide particularly improved dispersion of single-wall nanotubes in ethylene-α-olefin elastomer compositions, resulting in improved reinforcement from the nanotubes. The improved elastomer compositions may show simultaneous improvement in both modulus and in elongation at break. The elastomer compositions may be formed into useful rubber articles.

The preparation method comprises the steps of: causing a ring-closing reaction of 2-acetyl-2-butenoic acid methyl ester and malononitrile to occur in an alkaline condition to generate 1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2-methoxyl-4-methyl-5-acetyl-6-oxy-3-pyridine carbonitrile (II); causing a substitution reaction of the intermediate(II) and halogenated cyclopentane(III) to occur under the effect of acid binding agent to generate N-cyclopentyl-1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2-methoxyl-4-methyl-5-acetyl-6-oxy-3-pyridinecarbonitrile (IV); causing a condensation reaction of the intermediate(IV) and N-[5-(1-piperazinyl)-2-pyridinyl]guanidine (V) to occur to generate 6-acetyl-8-cyclopentyl-5,8-dihydro-5-methyl-2-[[5-(1-piperazinyl)-2-pyridinyl]amino]-pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-7(6H)-one (VI); and causing a dehydrogenation reaction of the intermediate(VI) and sodium selenate to occur to prepare Palbociclib(I).The preparation method has readily available raw materials and a simple process, is economical and environmentally friendly, and is suitable for industrial production.

摘要： Road signs having a front face with directional indicia or other informational indicia thereon are provided with a photoluminescent composition containing rare earth materials. The photoluminescent composition is applied to at least a portion of the area of the front face of the road signs. In a preferred embodiment, the composition containing the rare earth materials is applied by silk screening. A clear coat composition is applied over the previously applied photoluminescent composition to discourage wearing and fading of the rare earth material. In at least one preferred embodiment, the front face of the road signs includes a reflective material that meets Federal Department of Transportation specification requirements, and the rare earth material composition is silk screened on the surface of the reflective material.

Combinations of an acetic acid alkyl (C1-C4) ester with parachlorobenzotrifluoride (PCBTF) as well as combinations of a non-tert-butyl acetate (non-TB Ac) acetic acid alkyl (C1-C4) ester and tert-butyl acetate (TBAc) are preferred. These compositions can be used as diluents in the production of paints, coatings, adhesives, resins, or sealants. Other areas of application include inks, cosmetics, cleaning agents, and explosives. The compositions can be used as substitutes to xylene or toluene.
