The textile can be thermoformed to impart such structural and/or other advantageous properties to the article of wear. 摘要： Polymeric materials are provided that are produced from a blend of hydrophilic and hydrophobic biodegradable polymers. The polymeric materials can form fibers, nonwoven fabrics, films, coatings, etc. A compound can be incorporated in the polymeric materials. The delivery of the compound can be controlled by diffusion of the compound from the polymeric material and during biodegradation of the polymeric material. The release rate is controlled by varying the composition of the polymeric material to control diffusion rates of the compound and/or biodegradation rate of the polymeric material. This technology provides methods for delivering and controlling release rates of pesticides and related compounds in agricultural and non-agricultural settings. When adhered to plants or plant parts, the polymeric materials can provide protection from insect and disease pests. In pellet or capsule form, pesticides can be delivered into seed furrows along with crop seeds, providing similar protection.

摘要： A hydrophobic polyether-block-polyamide copolymer (PEBA) for the manufacture of a fabric material capable of cooling after the material has been brought into contact with an aqueous medium at a temperature lying in the range from 15° C. to Tm-20° C., Tm being the melting point of the fabric material, the aqueous medium comprising at least 85 wt % water relative to the weight of the aqueous medium, the PEBA comprising 20 to 80 wt % polyamide blocks and 80 to 20 wt % polyether blocks and having a saturated water absorption of less than 6 wt % according to the ISO 62 standard relative to the weight of PEBA, a cooling fabric comprising such a PEBA and the use of this fabric in the medical, hygiene, baggage, confection, clothing, domestic or household equipment, furnishing, carpet, automotive or industrial fields, especially for industrial filtration, agricultural and/or building matter.

摘要： The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composition comprising at least one crystalline water sensitive polymer and at least one amorphous water sensitive polymer. The thermoplastic composition may optionally further comprise additional ingredients such as other polymers, tackifying resins, plasticizers, waxes, and mixtures thereof. The thermoplastic compositions are useful in a variety of applications wherein water or moisture sensitive thermoplastic materials are employed such as various packaging adhesive applications including case and carton sealing, remoistenable adhesives, repulpable/recyclable adhesives and multiwall bag applications. The present invention is also useful for moisture activatable reinforcement strings and opening tapes for corrugated containers, as well as for a variety of nonwoven applications such as body fluid impermeable barriers, core stabilization adhesives, and construction adhesives.

摘要： Novel copolymer formed by melt blending a melt spinnable polyamide, such as nylon-6, and a block of random poly(dioxa-amide), such as a copolymer prepared from the mixture of caprolactam and the salt of adipic acid and 4,7-dioxadecamethylene diamine, is disclosed. The resulting copolymer, N-30203-6/6//6, has utility as a fiber. The fiber, for example, resulting from melt blending of nylon-6 and the aforementioned random poly(dioxa-amide) has moisture absorption characteristics similar to that of cotton. Furthermore, the resulting fiber still maintains the other desirable properties of the major constituent, for example, nylon-6.
