摘要： A fabric construct consists of a woven fabric of weft and warp yarns, and the fabric has an area defined by plurality of zones consisting of at least one zone of a first zone type, optionally, at least one zone of a second zone type; and at least one zone of a third zone type. The third zone is a transition zone disposed adjacent the first and/or second zones. All the zones are formed in a unitary woven construct, with adjacent zones seamlessly joined together. The transition zone includes a plurality of bands of sets of weft and/or warp yarns that collectively provide a progressive transition for an attribute of the first zone type through at least the transition zone and to the second zone type, if present. The fabric construct may be used in various end products and is particularly suited for use in apparel applications.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a speaker diaphragm fabric for a loudspeaker, includes: a preparation step, a plurality of first warps, at least one second warp and a plurality of wefts are prepared, wherein the second warp has characteristics different from the first warps; and a weaving step: the plurality of the first warps and the second warps are aligned and the wefts transversely cross and pass alternately over and under each of the first warps and the second warps in order to form the speaker diaphragm fabric having at least one formation region and a non-formation region exterior to the formation region. The second warps made from an inferior material are provided at the non-formation region, thereby reducing the waste cost and facilitating the differentiation of the formation region and the non-formation region.

摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for a touch sensor made from a combination of conductive and non-conductive fibers. The fibers are woven into a fabric wherein non-conductive fibers keep horizontal conductive fibers from contacting vertical conducting fibers unless a touch is applied. The conductive fibers are grouped into horizontal and vertical strips and the fibers in a strip are connected together throughout the fabric. The ends of the strips are connected to control electronics that drive signals to the sensor fabric and measure signals from the sensor fabric to determine touch locations and touch contact areas.
