摘要： The invention relates to the use of expanded graphite for reducing flammability and/or combustibility, in particular the use thereof as a flame protection agent and/or a fire protection agent, for materials and/or products which consist of or comprise wood fibers, cellulose fibers, wood powder, cellulose powder, wood granulates, cellulose granulates, and/or polyolefin-based materials. The invention further relates to materials and/or products which consist of or comprise wood fibers, cellulose fibers, wood powder, cellulose powder, wood granulates, cellulose granulates and/or polyolefin-based materials. In order to reduce the flammability and/or combustibility, expanded graphite is embedded into the materials and/or products, in particular in the form of a flame protection agent and/or a fire protection agent. The invention also relates to such an agent, in particular a flame protection agent and/or a fire protection agent, wherein expanded graphite is used alone or in combination with a boric acid/borax/alkali salt mixture. A particularly preferred area of use is binders, glues, and/or materials, products, and/or pre-products containing polyolefin-based materials in particular, preferably for damping (walls, floors, ceilings) and/or for floor and wall fittings. The invention is characterized by surprising advantages in fire protection tests with vertical edge flaming.

In one embodiment, a nano-boron textile coating is comprised of a solution including silicon, a dispersant, a softener, and acetic acid mixed in water; and a plurality of nano-boron particles dispersed in the solution. 摘要： A method for preparing a salt-resistant and detergent-resistant alginate fiber by contacting and infiltrating a finished alginate fiber with a borate-containing adjuvant solution and using selected proper raw materials in selected proportions and reaction conditions. The preparation method solves the problem that the alginate fiber and a fabric made therefrom are neither salt-resistant nor detergent-resistant. The borate-modified alginate fiber and a fabric made therefrom have excellent salt resistances, and can be washed with an alkaline detergent. The swelling degree of the alginate fiber modified by the adjuvant solution can be reduced to 39.8% after the fiber is immersed in a normal saline at 30° C. for 72 h and can be reduced to 55.3% after the fiber is immersed in a standard detergent for 24 h, while the fiber maintains its original morphology without any obvious dissolution phenomenon, and the self flame-resisting performance of the alginate fiber is also maintained.

摘要： Flame retardant formulations comprising boric acid and diammonium phosphate are disclosed herein. Such formulations are in an aqueous form or a powdered form. Methods of generating a flame retardant formulation are also disclosed herein. Such methods comprise combining boric acid and diammonium phosphate in an aqueous solution, wherein the boric acid and the diammonium phosphate is in a ratio range selected from the group consisting of 1:1 to 99:1 and 1:1 to 1:99; and heating the solution until dissolved; thereby generating a flame retardant formulation, wherein the flame retardant formulation consists essentially of boric acid and diammonium phosphate.

摘要： The present disclosure provides low pH fibers that are treated with additives, preferably after regenerating the cellulosic fiber, to control the pH and oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) in an aqueous environment where the fiber is placed. The low pH fibers can be formed into fibrous articles such as tampons or wipes. The low pH fibers with the additives provide health benefits to the user in that they hinder the ability of harmful bacteria to flourish.
