摘要： A road basket includes opposing support frames attached to a dowel by a coil that includes a terminal end not secured to other support frame structure, such as a support frame leg. The support frame and/or support frame legs may be configured to secure one or more dowels at a preferred height or preferred angle. A method of manufacturing the road basket includes pultruding a dowel to have an outer dowel diameter, cutting the dowel to a desired length, the dowel having a first end and a second end, providing a first coil including an inner coil diameter, said inner coil diameter is configured to be smaller than the outer dowel diameter, welding a first frame, wherein at least a portion of the first frame comprises the first coil, and constructing the road basket by heating the first coil then inserting a portion of the dowel into the first coil.

摘要： A system and method for forming concrete tiles for use in concrete walkways and concrete patios and courtyards. The system includes a unitary frame with two or more slanted sidewalls with a plurality of pickup points placed within an interior opening of the unitary frame. Concrete poured into the interior opening of the frame forms a beveled or slanted concrete sidewalk tile. The pickup points are buried in the beveled concrete sidewalk tiles. When an opening in the pickup points is uncovered, a means to pick and place the beveled concrete sidewalk tiles is provided. Slanted or beveled sidewalls prevent binding to or interference with adjacent slanted or beveled sidewalk tiles to facilitate lifting.

摘要： One embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a cementitious composite material for in-situ hydration that includes a mesh layer, a cementitious material, a sealing layer, and a containment layer. The mesh layer includes a plurality of fibers arranged in a nonwoven configuration and forms a mat having a first side and an opposing second side. The cementitious material is disposed within the mesh layer and includes a plurality of cementitious particles. The sealing layer is disposed along the first side of the mesh layer and is coupled to the plurality of fibers. The containment layer is disposed along the opposing second side of the mesh layer and is configured to prevent the plurality of cementitious particles from migrating out of the mesh layer.

摘要： A structure may include a plurality of first fiber bundles, a plurality of second fiber bundles, and a plurality of connecting threads. The first fiber bundles may extend substantially parallel to each other. The second fiber bundles may extend substantially parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to the first fiber bundles. The connecting threads may engage the first fiber bundles and the second fiber bundles such that at least one of the connecting threads is continuously wrapped around each of the first fiber bundles in a helical pattern. The at least one of the connecting threads may extend across a width of each of the second fiber bundles, and may thereby secure the second fiber bundles to each of the first fiber bundles. The first and second fiber bundles may be embedded in a construction material and adapted to reinforce the construction material.

摘要： A geogrid reinforced compactable asphaltic concrete composite includes a bottom layer, a first compacted layer of asphaltic concrete, a triaxial geogrid, and a second compacted layer of asphaltic concrete. The first layer and the second layer each include an aggregate having sharp, compound edges, which when mixed in asphaltic cement, create an aggregate interlock within the triaxial geogrid that provides strength to a paved surface. As a result of the triangular aperture geometry of the triaxial geogrid, the geogrid provides an asphalt lateral confinement zone within the composite. The zone allows for the formation of transverse hairline cracks as stresses on the composite necessitate. At elevated temperatures, the asphaltic cement softens and flows into the small transverse cracks, thus enabling the asphalt mats to substantially reseal themselves.

The basalt members are specifically formed to provide tension support having a beneficial use with pervious concrete used in large areas such as sidewalk and parking lot. The basalt reinforcing members add structural rigidity to the pervious concrete, making the pervious concrete capable of supporting heavy loads such as trucks without cracking while allowing water to pass through the concrete. The basalt reinforcing members are formed from roving crosses and interlaces in between each side of the figure 8 shape to mitigate potential for sheer at crossovers.

摘要： A bolster is constructed of non-biodegradable material. The bolster includes an elongated support member and legs for holding the support member in an upright position. An assembly is also provided to serially connect the bolsters together. More specifically, one end of the bolster includes a male connector and the opposite end a female connector. The non-biodegradable material is impervious to water and both shatter-resistant and sag-resistant within a temperature range between 220.degree. and -40.degree. F. The material also has a flex modulus of between 200,000 and 1,500,000. Preferably, the material also bonds with concrete so as to form a substantially watertight seal.
