摘要： An expandable safe room (ESR) defining a protected space therein is provided and comprises a main upright frame, a pair of side walls hingedly connected to the main upright frame, and a front wall parallel to the main upright frame and hingedly connected to the side walls, wherein deploying the ESR in an expanding direction moves the front wall in a forward direction and away from the main upright frame. Floor and roof are also provided wherein the deployment of the ESR can be automatically or manually.

摘要： The invention relates to a fold-out prefabricated construction structure and method for the assembly thereof. The structure, having bays of desired width, length and shape, is made up of porticos formed by pillars and an upper structure (27). The method involves positioning the base (1) on a surface (28) and provisionally fixing at least one portion of said base. This allows opening the porticos with the help of auxiliary structures created for this purpose (14). The elements of the structure are fixed to one another, and to the surface of the portions of the base in their final position. Each of the porticos not yet fixed must be moved to their final position, in a successive manner and separately from the closest fixed portico, together with the rest of still free attached porticos, and suitably fixed to the surface.

摘要： A prefabricated foldable building module including a central core comprising first and second opposing fixed walls with roof and floor beams interposed therebetween; a plurality of vertically foldably connected walls mounted upon the first and second walls foldable out therefrom; a pair of roof panels, each foldably connected adjacent said roof beam; a pair of floor panels each foldably connected adjacent floor beam: characterized in that the wall panels, roof panels and floor panels may be folded out from their supporting structures in a defined sequence to form an enclosed/partly enclosed building structure, and may be re-folded in reverse sequence to original configuration. Standard modules can be stretched, or joined side by side, end to end or one on top of the other to form larger buildings. The width of the central core can be increased to form an expanded central floor portion providing additional fixed area for location of bathrooms, kitchens and laundries, or for storage of unfixed furniture and building materials. Alternatively, a volumetric addition can be attached to the end of the standard module.

摘要： An expandable shelter having an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration in which the shelter has the approximate dimensions of a standard International Organization for Standardization (ISO) freight container. The expandable shelter includes first and second substantially parallel corner posts disposed at a first end of the shelter. The expandable shelter also includes a ramp coupled with hinges at the first end of the shelter and is configured to fit securely on the interior of the first and second corner posts when in a closed configuration in which the ramp is disposed between the first and second corner posts. The expandable shelter has sufficient strength to withstand the forces of at least eight similar shelters stacked on top of the shelter.
