摘要： Universal door lock indicating devices, kits, and methods are described. The kits and devices can include a flexible material designed to fit over a deadbolt lock turnpiece, a sensor designed to detect whether the deadbolt lock turnpiece is in a horizontal or vertical position, and a wireless transmitter which can be operatively connected to receive output from the sensor. The methods can include receiving a wireless transmission from a device of the disclosure, and outputting the locked or unlocked status of a deadbolt based upon information in the wireless transmission. The methods can also include fitting a device of the disclosure over a deadbolt lock turnpiece, turning the deadbolt lock turnpiece to lock or unlock a deadbolt operably linked to the deadbolt lock turnpiece, and generating a wireless transmission from the wireless transmitter.

摘要： A portable safe for a firearm or other valuable, which may be worn on a belt, comprising a first plate and second cover hingedly connected along a bottom edge, and comprising a latch along a top edge. The latch may be manually operated and may be remotely lockable to prevent unauthorized opening. A firearm may be stored in the invention by placing the barrel of the gun onto a barrel pin in a sliding engagement. The barrel pin may be long enough to protrude into the chamber of the invention to prevent storage of a firearm that has a round in the chamber. The portable safe may be configured for left or right hand draw. The invention may comprise a GPS receiver such that its location may be easily ascertained. The safe comprises safety features preventing unauthorized use while allowing an authorized user quick access to its contents.

摘要： A case for a portable electronic device includes a substantially hollow housing formed of a first section and a second section. The first section is dimensioned and configured to tightly retain the portable electronic device. A hinged connector secures a first portion of the first section to a first portion of the second section and allows access to the portable electronic device when the second section is in an open position. One or more locking mechanisms removably connect a second portion of the first section to a second portion of the second section and prevents access to the portable electronic device when the second section is in a closed and locked position. A locating device is disposed within or attached to the first section.

摘要： Systems and methods for a tamper-evident cargo container seal bolt lock are disclosed herein. The device can include a receiving member, a conductive bolt member adapted to be snap-locked into the receiving member, and a plastic encapsulant which tethers the bolt member to the receiving member. The encapsulant can contain an electrically conductive medium, such as a wire, which runs from the receiving member to the second end of the bolt. A sensory circuit disposed within the receiving member can be configured to sense whether the circuit has been interrupted (e.g., if the bolt has been cut). In the event of an interruption, the circuit can record the present time and/or date in memory. An RFID transponder disposed within the encapsulant or the receiving member can then transmit the recorded date/time to an RFID interrogator if a dispute subsequently arises as to when the lock had been broken.

摘要： A simplified locking and mounting execution methods for protecting high-value cargo enclosed in a container, while maintaining the container indistinguishable from similar low value shipments, including an OnBoard Identity Module (OBIM) providing lock and unlock actuation activities for the Internal Locking Mechanism (ILM), both of which are externally undetectable. The OBIM interacts with a Securing Rod or similar securing feature which engages one or more container components in a manner preventing the container from being opened until a properly encoded unlocking signal is sent to the locking system via wireless methods from a remote point directing the OBIM to actuate again to unlock the container. This simplified locking mechanism provides components of a size suitable for repeated use, removal, transport, and reuse elsewhere over-and-over or cost effective solutions suitable for single use disposable applications.
