摘要： A power generating assembly including an internal combustion engine and a combustion gas supply connected to the internal combustion engine in order to supply combustion gas. The combustion gas supply has an at least double-walled line at least in the region of the internal combustion engine, the line having an inner line volume for combustion gas and an outer line volume. The outer line volume is fluidically connected to an inert gas supply. The power generating assembly also includes a combustion gas pressure adjusting device that adjusts a combustion gas pressure in the inner line volume, and an inert gas pressure adjusting device that adjusts an inert gas pressure in the outer line volume. The combustion gas pressure adjusting device and the inert gas pressure adjusting device select the inert gas pressure and the combustion gas pressure such that the inert gas pressure is higher than the combustion gas pressure.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for charging an LPG fuel vehicle are provided to charge a LPG tank with LPG fuel by decreasing part of pressure in the LPG tank when pressure in the LPG tank, which stores the LPG fuel, is greater than charging pressure. That is, pressure in the LPG tank is decreased to be equal to or lower than charging pressure of a charger and the LPG tank with LPG fuel is charged more smoothly from the charger, by capturing part of the LPG fuel in the LPG tank and allowing the LPG fuel to be combusted in the engine when pressure in the LPG tank of the vehicle is greater than LPG charging pressure of the charger.

The sensor includes a circulation pipe for the variable-pressure gaseous fuel, a sliding guidance tube for an optical flux and a unit for displacement of the sliding guidance tube, on the basis of the variable-pressure gaseous fuel tapped off from the circulation pipe, so as to adapt the distance separating the first window from the second window as a function of the variation in pressure of the variable-pressure gaseous fuel circulating in the circulation pipe.

Fuel (F) in the main combustion chamber can be ignited by an ignition flare which passes from the at least one pre-chamber into the at least one main combustion chamber and which is produced by ignition of fuel (F) in the pre-chamber. At least one valve can be open-loop or closed-loop controlled by an open-loop or closed-loop control device depending on a parameter characteristic of a change in a power produced by the internal combustion engine, and/or by which a pre-chamber fuel flow directed through the pre-chamber feed conduit to the at least one pre-chamber can be at least partially diverted into a volume separate from the at least one pre-chamber.

摘要： A fuel heating apparatus and method are disclosed where a conductive coil is wrapped around an outer surface of at least a portion of a nozzle of a fuel injector. The coil and the nozzle are inductively cooperative with each other such that the coil, in response to a variable current through the coil, induces a heating of the nozzle. The inductively heated nozzle can heat fuel passing into an engine so as to cause the fuel to combust as it exits the heated nozzle. This arrangement allows for sparkles combustion of fuel in an internal combustion engine.

An engine control apparatus comprises an internal combustion engine fuelled with a gaseous fuel stored in liquefied form and a control unit programmed with a fuel system module, for monitoring gaseous fuel pressure and actuating a fuel injection apparatus for introducing gaseous fuel into a combustion chamber, and a liquefied gaseous fuel module, for monitoring the quantity of liquefied gaseous fuel remaining in a storage vessel and controlling a pumping apparatus that pumps liquefied gaseous fuel from the storage vessel to a vaporizer. The fuel system control module and the liquefied gaseous fuel control module cooperate to introduce gaseous fuel in the combustion chamber at a predetermined pressure as a function of engine operating conditions.
