摘要： A fuel supply device includes a sub-tank, a pump unit, a jet pump, and a connection structure connected with the pump unit and the jet pump. The connection structure has a guide part that is provided to the pump unit and guides the pressurized fuel toward the bottom in an axial direction, a pressurizing part that is provided to the jet pump and is fitted to the guide part from a side of the bottom in an axially slidable manner, to which the pressurized fuel is guided from the guide part, a shock-absorbing member that has a low spring constant that is predetermined and mitigates an axial impact between the guide part and the pressurizing part, and a sealing member that has a high spring constant higher than the low spring constant of the shock-absorbing member and radially seals a space between the guide part and the pressurizing part.

摘要： A filter element is installed in an inside of a fuel tank to filter stored fuel by passing the stored fuel into an inside space through the filter element. A partition wall element is exposed in the inside space. The partitioning portion includes: a partitioning portion that is placed to partially partition the inside space into a first space, into which filtered fuel filtered through the filter element is supplied, and a second space, in which a suction inlet for suctioning the filtered fuel opens, wherein the partitioning portion conducts the filtered fuel from the first space to the second space; and a communication window that is formed in the partitioning portion at a location, which is offset to a side that is away from the suction inlet, wherein the communication window communicates between the first space and the second space while bypassing the partitioning portion.

摘要： A fuel supply system includes a fuel pump having an inlet configured to pick up fuel and an outlet configured to discharge fuel. A pressure vessel is in fluid communication with the outlet of the fuel pump such that fuel is directed from the fuel pump into the pressure vessel, the pressure vessel having an outlet port. A pressure regulation valve subassembly is detachably coupled with the outlet port via a male-female interface that positively locks against axial separation upon axial coupling in a first orientation and relative rotation of less than 360 degrees to a second orientation. A reservoir defines an internal space at least partially receiving the fuel pump, the pressure vessel, and the pressure regulation valve subassembly. The reservoir includes an interior wall that obstructs rotation of the pressure regulation valve subassembly from the second orientation to the first orientation.

The first module includes a first tank having a first tank room, a direct injection (DI) fuel pump and filter, a port injection (PI) fuel pump and filter, a subtank, and a first flange supporting the filter, the pump, and the like. The second module includes a second tank having a second tank room where fuel is stored separately from the first tank room, a PI filter, a second jet pump, a second flange supporting the filter, the pump, and the like. As a result, a size of two flanges supporting two fuel pumps and two filters is reduced, thereby, reducing a size of two openings of the fuel tank.

摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for electrostatic discharge mitigation for a fuel module. In one embodiment, the system includes a fuel pump having a power and ground connection for pumping fuel. A fuel filter in fluid communication with the fuel pump, the fuel filter including one or more components made of a non-conductive plastic and having a sulfonated surface covered with a conductive surface formed over the sulfonated surface. The conductive surface is electrically coupled to the vehicle ground plane. A method is provided for mitigation of electrostatic discharge in a fuel module. In one embodiment, the method includes sulfonating non-conductive plastic components of the fuel module to provide a sulfonated layer on the non-conductive plastic components and forming a conductive layer over the sulfonated layer to provide an electrical discharge path for electrostatic buildup resulting from fuel moving through the fuel module.
