    • An insertion endpiece for connecting a part carrying the endpiece with another part provided with a bore for receiving the endpiece. The endpiece is provided with an outer groove in which there is received a cylindrical ring, that is free to turn and to slide. The ring has teeth projecting from its outside surface, the ends of the teeth being contained, in the free state, in a substantially cylindrical envelope of diameter that is greater than the diameter of the bore. The ring is received in the groove while being free to turn and to slide. The axial width (L) of the groove is greater than the axial width (L1) of the ring. When the ring is in abutment against a flank of the groove, the teeth are in register with a secondary groove formed in the bottom of the groove receiving the ring, and into which secondary groove the teeth are capable of penetrating elastically.

    • Elastic fasteners for fastening, securing or otherwise holding objects together are disclosed. The elastic fasteners include a head, an elastic shaft, and a retainer clip. The retainer clip includes a slot having a width that is smaller than the diameter of the elastic shaft. The end of the elastic shaft may be pulled to thereby stretch the elastic shaft and to decrease its diameter, allowing the retainer clip to be installed on the elastic shaft by inserting the stretched elastic shaft into the slot of the retainer clip. After the retainer clip is installed on the stretched elastic shaft, the end of the elastic shaft may be released to unstretch the elastic shaft and increase its diameter, thereby engaging in the slot of the retainer clip.

    • A manually installed fastener includes a fastener body having parallel first and second plates, the second plate having an aperture. A bend member integrally joins the first and second plates. The bend member has an outer deflectable leg integrally connected to the first plate and an inner deflectable leg integrally connected to the second plate. A first barb is integrally connected to the first plate and extends through the aperture of the second plate. A second barb is integrally connected to the second plate and is oppositely oriented with respect to the first barb. The second barb and the second plate are elastically displaced with respect to the first barb and the first plate to change a clearance diameter between the first and second barbs.

    • A retainer with an axial passage for receiving a format part is disclosed. The retainer includes several clamping tongues facing in the direction of the format part, the clamping tongues being angularly aligned against an outer lateral surface of the format part and being elastically deformable. The format part is held stationary in a first movement direction by the clamping tongues when its outer lateral surface is contacting the clamping tongues and whereby the format part is movable and/or guidable in a second movement direction, the second movement direction being opposite to the first movement direction. Furthermore the retainer includes at least one adjuster, wherein the surface contact between the respective clamping tongues and the format part is released upon actuation and/or upon a defined alignment of the at least one adjuster.
