    • An insertion endpiece for connecting a part carrying the endpiece with another part provided with a bore for receiving the endpiece. The endpiece is provided with an outer groove in which there is received a cylindrical ring, that is free to turn and to slide. The ring has teeth projecting from its outside surface, the ends of the teeth being contained, in the free state, in a substantially cylindrical envelope of diameter that is greater than the diameter of the bore. The ring is received in the groove while being free to turn and to slide. The axial width (L) of the groove is greater than the axial width (L1) of the ring. When the ring is in abutment against a flank of the groove, the teeth are in register with a secondary groove formed in the bottom of the groove receiving the ring, and into which secondary groove the teeth are capable of penetrating elastically.

    • A retaining assembly includes a body and a retainer. The body includes a compartment defined in an end thereof. The compartment is defined by a perimeter wall and an end wall. A coupling hole is defined in the end wall for receiving a tool. The retainer is mounted in the compartment of the body and has a through-hole aligned with the coupling hole of the body. The retainer further includes at least one resilient positioning portion abutting against the perimeter wall of the body for retaining the retainer in the compartment of the body. The retainer further includes at least one resilient clamping portion extending into the coupling hole of the body for pressing against at least one face of the tool received in the coupling hole of the body.

    • A device for fastening a steering wheel to a steering column, transmitting both torque and axial forces without play, whereby the end of the column and the hub of the wheel are designed to ensure form-fit transmission of torque at the site of their engagement. The device has a groove-like depression around the site of engagement on the column, the site of engagement on the hub comprises a stationary component and a component that pivots around it on an axis that parallels the axis of the column, the stationary component can be attached form-fit to the column, an elevation on the pivoting component that matches the groove-like depression and extends along at least part of it, and the pivoting component can be pivoted in two directions by a nut-and-bolt assembly installed axially non-displaceable in both the stationary component and the pivoting component, engaging and disengaging the elevation with the depression.
