摘要： A system for determining when a selectable one-way clutch has mechanically released includes an update timer identifying if each of a converter model engine torque, a transmission input torque, and a torque converter slip are positive for a predetermined period of time. An SOWC slip value is calculated using an output signal from each of: at least one transmission internal speed sensor producing an output signal representative of a speed of an internal component of a transmission; and at least one transmission output speed sensor producing an output signal representative of a speed of an output of the transmission. An SOWC released signal is issued if either all of the measured converter model engine torque, the measured transmission input torque, and the measured torque converter slip are positive for at least the predetermined period of time, or the calculated SOWC slip value is greater than a predetermined threshold.

摘要： Systems and methods are shown for electrically controllably transmitting power from a motor involving electrically controllably coupling the first input hub to a shuttle so that power is transmitted from the first input hub to the shuttle, providing for one-way rotation between the shuttle and a stationary chassis, and coupling the shuttle to an output hub with a spring such that energy is stored and released from the spring as the output hub rotates. Examples are shown that include controlling engaged and disengaged time intervals of the first input hub and shuttle to maintain a torque level at the output hub, such as by utilizing pulse width modulation or pulse frequency modulation. Examples are also shown involving electroadhesively coupling the first input hub to the shuttle.

摘要： An adaptive control device is provided for a vehicle starting clutch. The adaptive control device includes a reverse brake as the starting clutch, and a clutch adaptive controller. The reverse brake is interposed between an engine and motor/generator, and the left and right rear wheels and is slip-engaged at a time of starting. The clutch adaptive controller performs clutch adaptive control, in which the reverse brake is subjected to a state in which a temperature of the reverse brake is at, or above, a second threshold for a timed period, at least one time before a vehicle begins to move.

摘要： An engine clutch control system of a hybrid vehicle includes a driving information detector for detecting vehicle information and road environment information according to operation of the hybrid vehicle. An engine clutch is disposed between an engine and a motor. A hybrid controller provides an EV (electric vehicle) mode or an HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) mode by controlling engagement or disengagement of the engine clutch. The hybrid controller sets a slip estimation region of the engine clutch from an accumulated value of an APS (Accelerator Pedal position Sensor), an engine clutch temperature, or a road inclination when engagement of the engine clutch is required, and extracts a speed variation of the engine and the motor in the slip estimation region. The hybrid controller compares the speed variation of the engine and the motor with each other, and determines the engine clutch is engaged when a maximal peak is detected.

摘要： A method for determining a draining behavior of a hydraulically actuated transmission shifting element. By applying actuating pressure, the shifting element is changed from a completely drained, open operating condition to a completely filled closed operating condition, and the reference filling time, until the closed condition has been reached, is determined. Upon recognition of the closed condition, then by adjusting the actuating pressure for a predefined draining time, the shifting element is changed to its open condition and, thereafter, again completely filled and closed. Upon recognition of the closed condition, the shifting element is actuated direction toward the open condition by reducing the actuating pressure. Then, before completely opening, the shifting element is again returned to its closed operating condition and the filling time, until the partially drained shifting element has reached the completely filled and closed operating condition, is determined.

The transmission has multiple transmission stages and includes a first engagement mechanism and a second engagement mechanism. The control device includes an ECU configured to: (a) control the second engagement mechanism when a second transmission stage is set such that the capacity of torque transmission of the second engagement mechanism is increased and a thrust for separating a first member and a second member of the first engagement mechanism from each other in an axial direction is generated; (b) calculate a decrement in an output torque of the transmission when the capacity of torque transmission of the second engagement mechanism is increased; and (c) increase a torque input into the transmission by the engine based on the decrement in the output torque by controlling the engine.
