    • The damping device includes: a fixed cylinder that is configured to be fixed to a first structural body and formed into a cylindrical shape so as to comprise a hollow portion; a shaft member that is configured to be fixed to a second structural body, the shaft member being housed in the hollow portion of the fixed cylinder and having an outer peripheral surface provided with a helical thread groove; a nut member that is threadedly engaged with the shaft member, and converts an axial motion of the shaft member into a rotational motion; a rotor member that is formed into a cylindrical shape so as to cover the fixed cylinder and to form a cylindrical accommodation chamber between the rotor member and an outer peripheral surface of the fixed cylinder, and is rotated by the nut member; and viscous fluid that is sealed in the cylindrical accommodation chamber.

    • A pressure shock absorber includes: a cylinder accommodating a fluid; a partitioning portion that is provided so as to be capable of being moved in the cylinder in an axial direction, and partitions an inner space of the cylinder into a first chamber and a second chamber; a flow path forming portion forming a first flow path through along with the movement of the partitioning portion; a valve controlling the flowing of the fluid through the first flow path; a second flow path configured to form a fluid flow passage; a forward and rearward moving portion that is moved forward and rearward along one direction; and a changing unit that includes a rotator rotated by a predetermined amount of rotation along with the forward and rearward movement of the forward and rearward moving portion, and changes a flow direction of the fluid in the second flow path.

    • An energy-regenerating damper including a piston provided with a housing fitted inside a cylinder so as to be able to slide against the inner surface of the cylinder, a stator contained in/fixed to the inside of the housing, a rotor supported so as to be able to rotate inside the stator, and damping valves provided at the top and bottom ends of the housing. The housing includes an upper half and a lower half fastened together by bolts, and a damper rod is fixed to the top end of the upper half. The upper half and the lower half each contain a bearing for supporting the rotor. A plurality of orifices through which a hydraulic oil circulates are drilled towards the outsides of the upper half and lower half, and circulation holes through which the hydraulic oil circulates are drilled towards the insides of the upper half and lower half.
