    • The vacuum valve includes a valve housing (1) with an interior (2), first and second valve openings (3, 4), and a closure unit (10) that is arranged in the interior (2) of the valve housing (1) and has a first plate (11), a second plate (12), a roller support (13) which is arranged between the first plate (11) and the second plate (12), multiple roller pairs, each of which is formed from a first spreading roller (14) and a second spreading roller (15), and at least one spring (30, 31). The first and the second plate (11, 12) are carried together with the roller support (13) when the roller support (13) moves parallel to a movement direction (16) from the open position into an intermediate position, and an additional movement of the first and the second plate (11, 12) in the movement direction (16) is blocked when the roller support (13) moves from the intermediate position into a closed position. When the roller support (13) moves from the intermediate position into the closed position, the first and the second spreading rollers (14, 15) are moved along rising flanks (23a) of recesses (23), and the first and the second plate (11, 12) are thus spread apart parallel to a spreading direction (22). The rotational axes (28, 29) of the first and second spreading roller (14, 15) of each roller pair are offset relative to each other in the movement direction (16) and are spaced apart in the spreading direction (22) by a distance (b) which is smaller than a sum of the radius of the first spreading roller (14) and the radius of the second spreading roller (15).

    • A gas turbine engine valve assembly having an oil shut-off valve and a compensating valve fluidly connected thereto. The compensating valve, in a first position, restricts access to a pressure-reducing oil flow path leading to an oil reservoir, and in a second position, provides access to the pressure-reducing oil flow path. The pressure-reducing oil flow path is defined by fluid flow between housing apertures, a laminar hole and an orifice. The valve assembly is operable between a first configuration, wherein the oil shut-off valve is in a fluid transfer position and a piston of the compensating valve is in a closed position to direct oil toward the engine component, and a second configuration, wherein the oil shut-off valve is in the shut-off position and the piston is in a open position to direct oil toward the oil reservoir via the pressure-reducing oil flow path.

    • A cycle valve can include a valve body and a dynamic sealing spool assembly contained within the interior of the valve body. The dynamic sealing spool assembly includes a sleeve and a gate cartridge assembly which slides within the sleeve between an open and a closed position. The sleeve can include a sleeve opening while the gate cartridge assembly can include two openings, each of which includes a dynamic seat assembly. The dynamic seat assembly in one opening can be formed by upper and lower dynamic seats configured as solid blocks which seal the pathway through the valve when the gate cartridge assembly is in the closed position. The dynamic seat assembly in the other opening can be formed by upper and lower dynamic seats configured as cylinders which form the pathway through the valve when the gate cartridge assembly is in the open position.
