摘要： A plug valve including a valve body defining an internal cavity, a first passage, and a second passage, a plug defining a third passage and being rotatable within the internal cavity, and an insert extending within the internal cavity between the valve body and the plug. The insert defines an interior surface and an opening aligned with the first passage of the valve body. The insert may also define a sealing surface extending around the opening and standing in relief against the interior surface to sealingly engage the plug. In addition to, or instead of, the sealing surface, the insert may define a projection at least partially defining the interior surface. In addition, a boot may be connected to the valve body and interlocked with the projection to prevent, or at least reduce, rotation of the insert relative to the valve body when the plug rotates within the internal cavity.

摘要： A single waterway shaft structure includes a valve housing, a valve cover, a temperature control rod assembly composed of a water stopper and a temperature adjustment rod, a spring, and a gasket. A lower portion of the temperature control rod assembly is formed with an eccentric water hole. The gasket and the spring are placed in an eccentric water inlet of the valve housing in order and confined in the valve housing. The temperature control rod assembly cooperates with a faucet handle. A one-way connecting structure is provided between the valve cover and the valve housing. An upper end of the valve cover is provided with a fan-shaped limit block for limiting the turning angle of the temperature control rod assembly. The shaft is designed to be one-piece.

摘要： This invention, through an arrangement of basic elements, has resulted in a new device for landscape irrigation which has not been previously available. This implementation is an electromechanical device which can potentially revolutionalize the entire landscape irrigation industry. During operation it cyclically varies the amount of water ejected from a sprinkler device and thereby provides a more uniform coverage than is ordinarily available. This obviates the necessity to have additional sprinklers fill in the under-watered areas. The device accomplishes this by utilizing a synchronous alternating current motor to drive a rotor which, as it rotates, varies the flow rate of the water to the sprinklers. The motor is powered by the same source that powers the valves feeding water to the sprinklers. Its use will drastically reduce the amount of irrigation water required, helping to save a precious resource.

The rotor has a substantially planar surface with one or more rotor grooves and a pair of holes. The head portion has two pins. The pins are disposed substantially diametrically opposite of each other on a line through a center of the head portion. Each pin mates with one of the holes in the rotor. The rotor assembly can further comprise means for urging the rotor surface against the stator surface such that each rotor groove aligns with and provides a fluidic channel between two of the stator openings.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for the sterile transfer of fluids, be they liquids or gases. It uses a presterilized device comprised of a body having a bore formed through at least a portion of its interior. Contained within the bore is a movable plunger. The body has a first and a second end. The first end contains a face designed to be attached to the upstream component. The second end is connected to a downstream component such as a filter, pipeline, sample bag and the like. The plunger has corresponding first and second ends. The first end of the plunger when it the closed position is in alignment with the face of the body which combined form a steamable surface and a sterile barrier against the environment to the rest of the interior of the body, the plunger and downstream components. The device is attached to an upstream component and the face and the first end of the plunger are steam sterilized in place.

A spring is disposed between the first seating surface and a second seating surface opposite the first seating surface to provide a force to oppose the weight of the closure member and facilitate alignment of the closure member relative to the opening of the passageway.
