摘要： A clamp that is used for clamping a flexible tube or hose has two primary pieces that are hinged together at one end and have handle sections on the other end. Two linking pieces that are hinged together at one end have opposite ends that are hinged to intermediate hinge points on the primary pieces. Clamping surfaces on one of the primary pieces and on one of the linking pieces open in the direction of the handles. When rotating to the closed position, the intermediate hinge point on one of the primary arms moves from one side of a line that runs between the point where the primary pieces are hinged and the point where the linking pieces are hinged to the other side of that line, providing a locking action.

摘要： The present invention relates to devices for repairing hoses of umbilicals. In this context, the present invention provides a device for repairing a hose (3) of an umbilical, comprising a tubular repair body (1) and a fusible element (2) adapted to obstruct the passage of fluid through the inside of the repair body (1), wherein the repair body (1) comprises an outside diameter that matches the internal diameter of the hose (3) to be repaired. In addition, the invention further provides a method for repairing a hose (3) of an umbilical comprising the steps of: blocking a first end (31) of a hose (3) of an umbilical; inserting a device for repairing a hose (3) of an umbilical into a second end (32) of the hose (3); injecting a polymer sealant into the second end (32) of the hose (3); using upstream pressure to move the repair device as far as the region of the leak, until the repair body (1) completely covers the opening/leak site (4); flushing the polymer sealant between the internal wall of the hose (3) and the external wall of the device as far as the opening/leak site (4) in the house (3); solidifying the polymer sealant, thereby attaching the tubular repair body (1) inside the hose (3); releasing the first end (31) of the hose (3) of the umbilical; and flushing the fusible element (2) through the inside of the hose (3).

A channel for a dispensing tube is defined in the mounting half, and a plunger aperture is defined through the channel. The strike half pivots, relative to the mounting half, between a first pivotal position at least partially covering the channel and a second pivotal position exposing the channel and also slides relative to the mounting half, at least when the strike half is in the first pivotal position, between a first slide position obstructing pivotal movement of the strike half out of the first pivotal position and a second slide position permitting such movement. When the strike half is in the first pivotal position and the first slide position, a plunger strike surface on the strike half is in registration with and facing the plunger aperture.

A shroud is pivotally mounted to the support for movement between an operative position overlying the tubular outlet to prevent access to cam lock coupling ears and an inoperative position spaced from the tubular outlet. A lever cradle is provided on the shroud. The lever engages the lever cradle of the shroud when the lever position is pivoted to move the valve member to the valve open position, so that the shroud is held in the operative position by the lever.
