摘要： An active phase switchable array includes a plurality of antenna elements and a bias circuit. Each of the radar elements includes an antenna, a power coupling network and an injection-locked oscillator (ILO), and each of the antenna elements is coupled with each other through the power coupling networks for operating the ILO of each of the antenna elements in self- and mutual-injection-locked states. The antenna elements in self-injection-locked state are utilized to detect the vital signs of subjects, and the antenna elements in mutual-injection-locked state are utilized to produce phase difference between the radiating signals of the antenna elements for forming a beam. As a result, the active phase switchable array can simultaneously detect the vital signs of multiple subjects.

摘要： A non-contact vital sign monitoring system transmits wireless signals to the same side of a biological subject via two antennas with different gains, and the two antennas receive two reflected signals from the biological subject with random body movement. Under a proper setup of the two antennas, the two reflected signals can be adjusted by an amplitude and phase adjusting unit to have the Doppler shift components caused by body movement with equal magnitude and out of phase and the Doppler shift components caused by vital signs with different magnitude. Therefore, the random body movement effect can be cancelled based on the relation between the two reflected signals in using the system to monitor the vital signs of the subject.

摘要： A detector includes a frequency multiplier and a transceiving node. The frequency multiplier includes a first terminal, a second terminal and an output terminal. The first terminal is used to receive a first injection signal having a first frequency. The output terminal is used to output an output signal. The second terminal is used to receive a second injection signal having a second frequency. The frequency multiplier is used to output the output signal at a frequency substantially equal to a multiple of the first frequency by injection locking and pull the output signal to the second frequency by injection pulling. The transceiving node is coupled to the output terminal and the second terminal of the frequency multiplier. The transceiving node is used to transmit the output signal, and receive a received signal having a third frequency. The received signal is used to update the second injection signal.

The frequency multiplier receives the first injection signal, outputs an output signal and receives a second injection signal with a second frequency. 摘要： A transmission and reception module according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an antenna, a transmission circuit, a wave detection circuit, a high-frequency switch, a small-signal high-frequency diode limiter circuit, and a first power amplifier. The antenna transmits a transmission wave, or receives a reception wave. The transmission circuit is connected to the antenna via a circulator and supplies the transmission wave to the antenna. The wave detection circuit is connected to the antenna via the circulator and branches the reception wave received by the antenna to generate a control signal based on one branched reception wave. The high-frequency switch is connected to the wave detection circuit and suppresses a power of the other branched reception wave when the control signal is input thereto. The small-signal high-frequency diode limiter circuit is connected to the high-frequency switch and further suppresses the power of the other branched reception wave output from the high-frequency switch. The first power amplifier is connected to the small-signal high-frequency diode limiter circuit and amplifies the power of the other branched reception wave whose power has been suppressed by the small-signal high-frequency diode limiter circuit.

摘要： A direct conversion radio frequency (RF) transceiver integrated circuit (IC) is provided. The IC includes a local oscillator block, a receiver block, and a transmitter block disposed on a single silicon-based integrated circuit. Each of such blocks are connected to a ground plane that includes a metal located adjacent to each of such blocks, air gaps located between each section of the metal adjacent to such blocks, each section of the metal being connected to the adjacent section of metal in the group plane at a location on the edge of the ground plan corresponding to a point substantially equidistant from the two sections of metal. A system and method is provided for implementing a direct conversion integrated circuit architecture. A clock distribution system is provided, as well as a method for radio detection and ranging (RADAR) using a Doppler RADAR transceiver system in the W-band. A method for noise isolation between blocks of an integrated circuit is also provided.
