摘要： A logging tool capable of making different types of measurements is provided, and a plurality of measurements on a formation are obtained. Certain mineral properties of the formation are assumed and a mixed properties theorem for the formation is invoked. Upper and lower velocity limits for sonic waves traveling through the formation are determined using the above information. Biot's constant is also computed using the above information. LWD data on the formation is obtained and an effective stress is determined. A total stress is determined and, from that and the other information, a pore pressure is determined.

Data acquisition is conducted by either an adaptive phase compensation processing or a modulus mode processing, both of which use in-phase and out-of-phase current components to obtain current values. Adaptive phase compensation employs a calculation of a phase shift compensation value, which may then be applied to subsequent acquisitions and can be further processed in the generation of an image of the borehole wall.

摘要： Various methods for performing inversion of data obtained from a CSEM survey in order to determine resistivity values in a surveyed space are disclosed. A method includes initializing an objective functional dependent measured and modeled electric field data and iteratively minimizing the objective functional to produce an estimated set of expansion coefficients for generating a multi-dimensional record of resistivity values. The set of expansion coefficients is dependent on a resistivity model, which in turn is used to generate an electric field model in the form of a multi-dimensional grid having a number of grid points. Thus, instead of performing the inversion for each point in the grid, the record of resistivity values is generated based on the set of coefficients. The number of coefficients may be at least one decimal order of magnitude less than the number of grid points, and thus the computational effort is reduced.

摘要： Provided is a battery pack with improved heat dissipation efficiency. The battery pack includes a holder case, and a plurality of batteries disposed inside the holder case. The holder case includes a plurality of ribs disposed inside the holder case. Each of the ribs has a column extending in a direction substantially parallel to a side surface of the holder case, and each of the batteries is accommodated between the columns of the ribs. The column has a heat dissipation hole therein extending along the extension direction of the column. An air flow is formed through the heat dissipation hole, and heat generated during a charge and/or discharge operation dissipates through the air flow in the heat dissipation hole. A portion of the columns are separated from each other forming a gap. The heat generated from the batteries also dissipates through this gap.
