    • Provided is a voice search technology that can efficiently find and check a problematic call. To this end, a voice search system of the present invention includes a call search database that stores, for each of a reception channel and a transmission channel of each of a plurality of pieces of recorded call voice data, voice section sequences in association with predetermined keywords and time information. The call search database is searched based on an input search keyword, so that a voice section sequence that contains the search keyword is obtained. More specifically, the voice search system obtains, as a keyword search result, a voice section sequence that contains the search keyword and the appearance time thereof from the plurality of pieces of recorded call voice data, and obtains, based on the appearance time in the keyword search result, the start time of a voice section sequence of another channel immediately before the voice section sequence obtained as the keyword search result, and thus determines the start time as the playback start position for playing back the recorded voice. Then, the playback start position is output as a voice search result.

    • The disclosed embodiments relate to a system that facilitates accessing audio files associated with a user from an online content management system. During operation, the online content management system receives a function call from a client to list audio files associated with the user. In response to the function call, the system filters through operations for files associated with the user to identify audio files. Next, the system returns metadata for the identified audio files associated with the user to the client. In some embodiments, filtering through the operations involves filtering an operation log to identify operations performed on audio files associated with the user, wherein the operations occurred since a preceding call to the function.

    • Visualizing and exploring a music library using metadata, such as genre, sub-genre, artist, and year, is provided. Geometric shapes, such as disks or rectangles, may be divided into sectors representing genre and each sector may be further divided into sub-sectors representing artists associated with each genre. The sector's relative size generally reflects the importance of the corresponding genre within the library. Likewise, the sub-sector's relative size generally reflects the importance of the corresponding artist within the genre which may be determined by the number of media items of the artist. Marks representing each media item may be arranged and displayed within the geometric shape to reflect the mark's corresponding genre, artist, and year. In addition, each mark may reflect an attribute, such as playcount, of the media item and each sector may reflect the mean value of an attribute of all media items within the sector.
