摘要： One embodiment provides an apparatus. The apparatus includes crawler logic, indexer logic, natural language understanding (NLU) parser logic and a content data store. The crawler logic is to retrieve content. The indexer logic is to extract at least one of a sentence and/or a phrase and to identify a key term and a content element location identifier. The natural language understanding (NLU) parser logic is to classify the sentence and/or phrase based, at least in part, on semantic information and/or based, at least in part, on syntactic information. At least one of the indexer logic and/or the NLU parser logic is to store a content data record including a key term identifier, at least one of a semantic classification identifier and/or a syntactic classification identifier and the content element location identifier to the content data store.

摘要： A system for implementing a method that provides information to a user in response to a received user query. A natural language analysis generates substrings relevant to the user query. An ontology analysis outputs: terms of an ontology matching the relevant generated substrings; and relationships between the terms. A query analysis analyzes the user query regarding the outputted terms and relationships, including ascertaining whether the user query is more suitable for service than for an information search. If it is so ascertained, then service actions for the user to perform are identified to the user. If it is not so ascertained, then: the user query is refined based on the outputted terms and relationships; a search query is generated based on the refined user query, a search is initiated based on the search query, and results of the search are provided to the user.

An updated query is automatically built based on the stored one or more filters by the information retrieval management computing device. One or more results are retrieved and provided, by the information retrieval management computing device, based on the automatically built updated query.

摘要： A computer-implemented method, system using at least one computing device, and computer program product are disclosed for linking an ontology provided by a content service with a word expansion ontology. The content service ontology is referred to as a category ontology and the word expansion ontology is referred to herein as a lexical ontology. A user may provide an input such as an input command to an application. The input command is processed by a natural language processing engine to derive the user's intent and to extract relevant entities embodied in the command. The NLP engine may create a composite concept set containing multiple permutations of the concepts (entities extracted) and provide the composite concept set to a concept mapper. The concept mapper applies searches an ontology map and applies one or more scoring operations to determine a best match between the composite concept set and at least one category provided by the category ontology. The content service is searched using the category and the results are displayed to the user.

摘要： Methods, systems, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium, including a method for responding to queries. A first user query is received. The first user query is processed including identifying one or more segments in the first user query, a segment representing a word or a phrase. A stand-alone score is determined for each segment of the first user query, wherein the stand-alone score is an indication of a likelihood that the segment represents a stand-alone query and that the segment represents a main topic of the first user query. A historical log of queries is processed to determine query-independent scores for segments that are included in queries represented by the log. The final query-independent scores are used to determine the stand-alone score for each segment of the first query.
