摘要： A method, system and computer program product for updating the time-related information in a post to make it more relevant for the requester on a subsequent retrieval of the post. A post with a reference to an event or activity (e.g., “leaving for Florida in 3 days”) is identified using natural language processing. Upon receiving a request from a requester to retrieve the post prior to the expiration of the event/activity, the post is updated by substituting a time countdown in the post with an up-to-date time countdown or with a current status of the referenced event/activity. If, however, the request is received after the expiration of the event/activity, then the post is removed or updated with an indication that the referenced event/activity has expired. In this manner, the requester will be receiving more accurate and relevant time-related information concerning the event or activity referenced in the post.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a means for validating electronic forms using one or more semantic databases. The invention includes processing an electronic form into individual elements and generating entities for the individual elements. The closest matching ontology is found for each entity and the pairings are grouped into a general formal ontology tree. The entities in the general formal ontology tree are traversed using generated rules. This analysis yields validation results that are combined with the original form to create an annotated form.

The computer retrieves from on-line sources, product information on the product and analyzes the product information to determine a first product rating. The analysis includes at least a sentiment, and a trend of the sentiment. A computer extracts comments on the product from the similar product information and determines an adjustment to the first product rating based on an analysis of the comments and references to the product in the similar product information. The adjustment to the first product rating includes using a sentiment, a trend of the sentiment over time, and a frequency of comments and references to the product over time in the retrieved plurality of similar product information.

摘要： Computer-implemented systems and methods for synthesis of concept definitions and concept relationships from a domain of data, utilizing different semantic processing protocols such as formal concept analysis and faceted classification synthesis from existing domain concepts that have a confidence gradient built into them. A cognitive or an input agent provides an input of an active concept which is matched against existing domain concepts. The resultant pool of relevant domain concepts is then used to derive virtual concept definitions using a semantic processing protocol. The derivation is then overlaid with a concept of relative proximity of an attribute from another within an attribute set. An additional layer of coherence is given by the relative proximity measure. The end result is a pool of related virtual concept definitions in a tree structure.

In response to the query, the system receives a result that includes a subset of the graph. In particular, the subset of the graph may include the desired information expressed within an associated structure of the graph.
