摘要： In some examples, a system and method for generating a payment instrument are described. The method includes receiving a unique signature that a recipient intends to associate with the payment instrument; verifying that the received feature meets an acceptability criterion; generating a representation of the received signature, wherein the representation is in a form capable of being physically associated with the payment instrument, and wherein association is established by embedding or exposing the representation on the payment instrument; and causing physical generation of the payment instrument having associated therewith the representation of the signature.

摘要： A point-of-sale security activation card is provided. The card includes first and second card panels, a security element selectively interposed between the card panels, and machine readable content carried by either or both of the card panels. An inside panel surface of the first card panel is characterized by a revealable information field comprised of revealable information. The second card panel includes a tab, the tab overlying an end portion of the revealable information field of the first card panel. The security element includes a body, and a head extending therefrom. The head underlies the tab of the second card panel, the body overlying a substantial portion of the revealable information and intersecting with the machine readable content. Manipulation of the tab in furtherance of revealing the revealable information results in corruption of the machine readable content by the security element.

Card holder may select a payment card housed within the electronic card case, which releases the selected payment card for use upon validation of the biometric sample and also causes the activation of the locator unit positioned within to determine location information for the electronic card case and by extension the selected payment card. The electronic card case's processor transforms the geographical location information into pre-authorized location information for the selected payment card, to now include the geographical location and identifying card account information and the electronic card case communication means transmit the pre-authorized location information to the issuing bank for pre-authorization of the international financial transaction.

In one embodiment, a card apparatus can include a card hopper having a card eject surface and a card track having a card transport surface positioned below the card eject surface. A first roller is configured to rotate to draw a first card from a card port and onto the card track. A second roller is configured to rotate to dispense a second (ejected) card from the card hopper and onto the card track and further toward the card port. In one embodiment, the second roller is further configured to rotate to deposit cards below the card hopper.

The remote dispensing device then reads proximity payment card information from a pre-personalized proximity payment card, transmits it and a request for personalization data to the chip card issuer, receives the personalization data and transmits it to the pre-personalized proximity payment card to store thereon to create a personalized proximity payment card, and lastly dispenses the personalized proximity payment card to the consumer.
