摘要： A method of rotating a surveillance camera having an acceleration sensor and being controllable by a processor to maintain a tilt-angle to conform to a command tilt-angle, includes the steps of moving the surveillance camera tilt to a predetermined command tilt-angle in response to a signal from the processor; periodically calculating estimated tilt-angles by using acceleration values in at least one axis of an acceleration sensor; calculating a difference value between an estimated tilt-angle of a current period and an estimated tilt-angle of a previous period; and when the difference value between the estimated tilt-angles exceeds a set limit, moving the camera to another position to correct the tilt angle according to the difference calculate.

摘要： External conditions, e.g., smoke, temperature, humidity, humidity, pressure, flow rate, etc., affects a sensor's characteristics, wherein the sensor provides a current output representative of its characteristics as affected by the external conditions. The current output of the sensor is coupled to a sample and hold capacitor for a precision time period thereby charging the sample and hold capacitor to a voltage proportional to current provided by the sensor over the precision time period. The voltage on the sample and hold capacitor is converted to a digital representation and a determination is made whether the external condition represents an alarm situation, e.g., smoke detected from a fire.

Methods may include receiving pressure data from a pressure sensor disposed under the patient, receiving accelerometry data from an accelerometer coupled with the patient, detecting movement of the patient based at least in part on the pressure data and the accelerometry data, and determining whether the detected movement is indicative of bed-exit based at least in part on the detected movement. Systems may include a pressure sensor configured to collect pressure data associated with movement of the patient, an accelerometer configured to collect accelerometry data associated with movement of the patient, and a central aggregator configured to determine whether the movement of the patient is indicative of bed-exit based at least in part on the collected pressure data and the collected accelerometry data.

The method includes collecting information on the user's heart reaction to physical efforts; collecting information on the level of bradycardia or tachycardia of the user; determining reference values relating to the user's heart rate beyond which the alarm has to be activated, measuring parameters relating to the user's heart rate; and activating the alarm every time the measured parameters exceed the reference values. A portable alarm device implementing the method includes: a heart rate meter; a control unit; a memory circuit; a program computer product executed by the control unit in order to collect the information on the user and determine the reference values relating to the user's heart rate beyond which the alarm has to be activated; and alarm means for the rescue request.
