    • A wireless training device is disclosed which uses a digital computer to simulate or imitate electronic circuits, especially logic or computer circuits. Basically, a control program is selected by insertion of an edge encoded card. This card has on it a drawing of the circuit being taught as well as addressing information for use by the digital computer. Test points on the training card are holes, through which the test probe can contact the metal fingers of a test plane. The information derived from the test plane, as well as inputs from the various test switches, are operated on by the computer and control program to give output indications, usually in the form of lights. By putting the control programs in permanent memory (i.e. ROM or PROM) the student will be required to perform few preparatory steps. The unit is expandable by simply adding more programing to the memory chips and by drawing suitable training cards.

    • An electronic calculator having a liquid crystal display (LCD) which is supported on a transparent substrate so that light from an overhead projector or the like can be transmitted through the display to create an enlarged image of the numerals in the display that are made opaque by proper excitation of the LCD. A calculator supplied with such modified LCD wherein the rear surface of the LCD is parallel to the rear surface of the calculator case so that the case can be placed upon the projection plane of a conventional overhead projector, thereby permitting an instructor to manipulate the input keys to the calculator while simultaneously affording an enlarged view of the LCD to others in the classroom.

    • A toy electrical computer comprises a set of switches arranged in lines and in columns and mobile bars representing input data and movable into two different positions. Each mobile bar is provided with opening therein for the reception of detachable pegs having conducting portions, the number and arrangement of the pegs in the openings being variable in dependence upon the selected program. A plurality of indicators each represent an output datum and each is connectable between an electric current supply source and one or more of the columns of switches in accordance with the selected program. The switches of each column are connected in series by means of substantially C-shaped, resilient conducting blades the two legs of which respectively form terminals of two adjacent switches of the column. The adjacent legs of adjacent blades in a column are insulated from each other except when electrically interconnected by way of said peg conducting portion.
