摘要： Briefly, a method for verifying the visual perceptibility of a display is provided. An intended message is written to a bistable display. Pixels that comprise portions of the message are measured and evaluated to determine if the message actually displayed on the bistable display was perceptible by a human or a machine. In some cases, information regarding the message actually perceivable from the display may be stored for later use. Responsive to determining that a message is perceivable or not perceivable, alarms may be set, one or more third parties notified, or additional display features may be set.

摘要： An immersive display system is disclosed that includes screens configured to mitigate reduction in contrast ratio due at least in part to peripheral light incident on the screens. The immersive display system includes at least two screens and at least two projector systems. The screens have a multi-layered structure configured to selectively reflect light in narrow wavelength bands. Each screen is configured to strongly diffusely reflect light in narrow wavelength bands that are different from the wavelength bands reflected by other screens in the immersive display system. Projector systems can be configured to provide light to associated screens in the narrow wavelength bands reflected by those screens.

The first electrode patterns receive a first voltage and are disposed respectively correspondingly to the first color filter patterns, while the second electrode patterns receive a second voltage and are disposed respectively correspondingly to the second color filter patterns. 摘要： A limited-use blood glucose meter includes a printed circuit board assembly that includes a power source, a strip port, a strip reading device, a controller device, a bi-stable display, and a display controller. The strip reading measures a reaction between a blood sample present on the blood glucose test strip and the blood glucose reagent, generates a blood glucose signal, and calculates a blood glucose level. The controller device receives the blood glucose level from the strip reading device. The controller device provides display instructions to the display controller and the display controller provides drive voltages to the bi-stable segments such that the bi-stable segments persistently display the most-recent blood glucose level. The strip reading device performs a predetermined number of blood glucose tests and calculates a blood glucose level only for blood glucose strips associated with the disposable blood glucose meter.

摘要： Systems and methods are disclosed for a display driver having an internal non-volatile memory in order to save memory storage and computation effort of a host processor. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the display driver is applied for an electronic paper display. Contained within the display driver are user-definable display graphics bitmaps, multiple stored bitmaps used to assemble complex display images, and multiple phase tables, each table of arbitrary length. The invention removes the requirement for a host processor to store display images and/or display image decodes of numerical data and simplifies the process required to construct a display image from stored bitmaps. Furthermore the invention provides pre-programmed multiple phase tables (phase/delay waveform definitions), allowing a simple mechanism to alter the waveform generation, required for example to accommodate temperature variations, blanking the display before updating an image, etc.
