摘要： A filter inductor for high-current applications. The filter inductor includes a magnetic core and a winding. The winding includes a shaped section having opposing ends, a pair of arm sections laterally extending from the opposing ends of the shaped section, respectively, and a pair of inductor pins, each extending perpendicular from an end of a respective arm section. The magnetic core includes a first core portion and a second core portion. The first core portion includes a recessed channel configured to receive the shaped section of the winding. The second core portion includes a pair of recessed regions configured to receive the pair of arm sections of the winding, respectively. The first core portion and the second core portion are coupled in contact to one another to secure the shaped section of the winding within the magnetic core. The filter inductor can be edge-mounted to a printed circuit board.

摘要： Instead of being made from one continuous piece of material, a coil includes multiple flat coil segments that are stacked together and electrically coupled in series. In many embodiments, the coil segments are U-shaped segments, and the segments are arranged so that each segment is rotated (e.g., by 270 degrees) with respect the segment it follows. The stacked coils may then be fastened together using, for example, bolts through the corners of the coil segments. The combined coil segments form a continuous coil.

A winding can be disposed around the bobbin body. A core can have a core leg extending into the axial passage. The bobbin can be disposed on a printed circuit board. The core and the winding can be elevated off of the printed circuit board. The bobbin can include a first spacing member positioned between the bobbin body and the first pin rail, and a second spacing member positioned between the bobbin body and the second pin rail. The core can be positioned on the first and second spacing members such that the core is at an offset position from the first and second bobbin pin rails. The winding can additionally be offset from the first and second pin rails.

摘要： An improved structure of a transformer includes a bobbin covering at least a portion of a magnetic core set which has a magnetic loop passing through the bobbin, wherein winding grooves and at least one connecting portion extending sideways are provided on the outer peripheral side of the bobbin, and a plurality of notches with lateral openings are provided on the connecting portion. Coils are wound in the winding grooves of the bobbin. The coils have at least a plurality of line ends, each line end passing through a different notch. One positioning pin is embedded in each of the winding grooves near the lateral opening. The positioning pins hold the respective line ends in place by pressing against them. A casing is fitted on the outer peripheral side of the coils to create separation between the coils and the magnetic core set. The casing is provided with a hollow opening such that the outer peripheral side of the coils facing the airflow is exposed to improve the overall heat dissipating efficiency.

The core assembly is electromagnetically coupled to the first conductive plate, the circuit board and the second conductive plate and passed through the first, second and third through holes to provide a high amperage and low-profile transformer structure.
