This invention comprises a system of elements that combine to minimize the cost and complexity of a backup-capable solar power system. An element of this system is a prior-art balancer-based photovoltaic panel power optimizer whose power electronics are time-shared to allow an array of battery modules to power or provide supplemental or surge power to an inverter. Further elements of the system provide for rapid and low-cost installation, reliability, and easy and safe maintenance.

摘要： Apparatus for switching an electrical load circuit operated at high voltage are disclosed. The embodiments described herein include a device for controlling the switching of a high voltage circuit such that both the connection and disconnection can be carried out in a simple and reliable manner. Embodiments described herein can also prevent the unintentional opening of the switching device which can greatly extend the service life of the switching circuitry. Moreover, the apparatus disclosed herein reliably prevent the formation of an arc during switching by enabling the switching operation to take place without a load.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a system of assemblies for remotely actuating a tap box to a continuous access busway. The system includes a tap box having a male component with electric contacts positionable between an engaged position and a disengaged position with a continuous access busway. A remote actuator interface positioned along the tap box for being selectively attached to a remote actuator device for manipulating the male component between the engaged position and the disengaged position. The remote actuator device may be a powered actuator device or an elongated control rod wherein the powered actuator device and elongated control rod may be selectively coupled to the remote actuator interface to manipulate the male component between the engaged position and the disengaged position relative to the continuous access busway from a safe distance to reduce the event of injury due to arch flashing or electrocution.

摘要： A portable actuator system enables the remote operation of electrical disconnect switches with a portable actuator device that is temporarily installed at the disconnect switch location. An embodiment, among others, of the portable actuator device has an electric motor having a drive shaft that can be controlled to rotate about a longitudinal axis. The actuator device also has elongated movable first and second arms that are controlled by the drive shaft. The first arm engages and moves the disconnect handle in a first rotational direction so that the disconnect handle is switched to the open position. The second arm engages and moves the disconnect handle in a second rotational direction so that the disconnect handle is switched to the closed position.

摘要： An operating device for a disconnector includes a drive unit, a Geneva mechanism, and a wire. The drive unit includes a forwardly and reversely rotatable motor serving as a drive source for driving a movable contactor of the disconnector, a power source supplying power to the motor, and a first pulley connected to a rotary shaft of the motor, and is disposed apart from the disconnector. The Geneva mechanism includes a second pulley that rotates in the same direction as the first pulley with the rotation of the first pulley, and a driven wheel that is intermittently driven while the second pulley rotates and that is provided with a rotary shaft connected to the movable contactor, and is attached to the disconnector apart from the drive unit. Further, as a flexible rotational force transmission member, a wire is stretched between the second pulley and the first pulley.

摘要： A device charging system that uses the fact that individual devices do not need to be continuously charged for an extended charging period in order to be fully charged at the end of the period. With automatic timing and switching, different devices can be charged at different times during the charging period with the result that all the devices are fully charged at the end of the period. Several charging power boxes that fit into one or more charging cabinets that are controlled by one or more timers. Each charging power box also includes a heat sensor and circuit breaker. User appliances or electronic devices can be stacked in the cabinets, plugged into numerous outlets available on the charging power boxes and then locked inside the cabinet for overnight charging and security. Any abnormal rise in temperature within the cabinet can shut down the entire charging process.
