摘要： The present invention relates to a vacuum container having a first substrate and a second substrate arranged so as to face each other as components including, within the low-pressure container, a spacer disposed at the first substrate or the second substrate so as to maintain an interval between the first substrate and the second substrate. The spacer is fixed within the vacuum container via a supporting member provided at the spacer without contacting the substrate where the spacer is disposed. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing vacuum container, an image display apparatus using the vacuum container, and a method for manufacturing the image display apparatus.

The spacer includes an insulating member having a predetermined shape, and at least one inner electrode laterally inserted into the insulating member. A portion of the inner electrode is exposed to an outer side of the insulating member. The electron emission display includes: an electron emission substrate having an electron emission region containing an electron emission device thereon; an image-forming substrate having an image forming region adapted to light from electrons emitted by the electron emission device; and at least one spacer for spacing apart the electron emission substrate from the image-forming substrate. At least one inner electrode is inserted into the spacer, and at least a portion of the inner spacer is exposed to the exterior of the spacer.

A sheet resistance value of the second resistor film is less than a sheet resistance value of the first resistor film. A resistance value of the second resistor film between the electrode and anode electrode is greater than a resistance value of the resistor.

摘要： A method for forming patterned insulating elements on a substrate includes a plurality of exposure steps of exposing a photosensitive paste provided on the substrate through at least one mask having a predetermined pattern; a developing step of developing the exposed photosensitive paste to form a precursor pattern; and a firing step of firing the precursor pattern to form the patterned insulating elements. This method is applied to a method for forming an electron source and a method for forming an image display device including the electron source.
