摘要： The present disclosure relates to a shock absorbing arrangement suitable e.g. for ship installed structures comprising a rod, a resilient member arranged in connection to the rod, a structure element and a locking member arranged in connection to the structure element. The locking member is arranged to detachably lock the structure element at a resting position at the rod and the locking member, or the structure element, is supported by the resilient member. The resilient member is configured such that a spring force of the resilient member acts to maintain the structure element essentially at the resting position at the rod. The locking member is further configured to release the structure element from the resting position when being exposed to a force exceeding a predetermined holding force, whereupon the resilient member acts to reinstate the locking of the structure element at the resting position at the rod. The present disclosure further relates to a shock absorbing structure comprising such shock absorbing arrangements.

摘要： The present invention relates to an underwater radio frequency antenna able to radiate in an underwater or equivalent propagation medium. It comprises a hollow conducting tube forming a resonant cavity, said conducting tube having an open end and a closed end, means of excitation of said resonant cavity which area able to be fed with signals and are arranged in such a way that the resonant cavity emits an electromagnetic radiation through said open end, at least one layer of dielectric material filling at least partially said resonant cavity so as to close the open end of the resonant cavity and render said cavity leaktight in relation to the underwater medium and to allow said electromagnetic radiation to pass through.

摘要： A method for upgrading a dual-band antenna assembly to a tri-band antenna assembly is provided. The dual-band antenna system includes a main reflector, a strut assembly coupled to the main reflector defining an antenna feed receiving area spaced from the main reflector, and a subreflector carried by the strut assembly and also spaced from the main reflector. The subreflector includes a frequency selective surface (FSS) material that is reflective for both a first frequency band and a second frequency band and transmissive for a third frequency band. First and second antenna feeds are arranged in a coaxial relationship adjacent the main reflector and directed toward the subreflector. The first and second antenna feeds are for first and second frequency bands, respectively. The method includes positioning a third antenna feed at the antenna feed receiving area and directed towards the subreflector and the main reflector. The third antenna feed is for the third frequency band.

The networking of the radar with such enclosures increases the radar coverage by adding to the possible collection of locations and thus potentially increasing the data to be analyzed—ultimately increasing the accuracy of the readings.

摘要： A wideband multi-function phased array antenna aperture includes a plurality of low and high frequency phased array apertures that are asymmetrically dispersed over a largest aperture. Each aperture of the plurality of low and high frequency phased array apertures includes a plurality of frequency scaled radiating elements. The antenna aperture consolidates many functions into a single wideband multi-function phased array antenna where the use of frequency scaled elements reduces the total number of elements needed, thereby reducing the size, weight, power, cost and radar cross section when compared to conventional wideband phased array architectures.
