摘要： A patchboard having multiple honeycomb components, each honeycomb component having a box-shaped housing with two end surfaces and four lateral surfaces which extend between the end surfaces. Each of the end surfaces has at least one connection region, and each of the lateral surfaces has at least one connection element for connecting to another honeycomb component. Individual honeycomb components can be removed from the patchboard in that at least one respective elastic latching arm with a latching hook is arranged on at least two mutually adjacent lateral surfaces of the honeycomb components. Each of the latching arms extends in the direction of the length of each lateral surface, and at least one recess is formed at least on the lateral surfaces on which at least one latching arm is formed, the recess being used to access the latching hook of a latching arm from an end face using a tool.

摘要： A connector for a cable assembly includes a shell, a contact housing, and multiple finger clips. The contact housing is held in a chamber of the shell. The contact housing defines contact cavities extending through the contact housing between front and rear ends thereof. The finger clips are held in the contact cavities. The finger clips have deflectable latches. The contact cavities of the contact housing are configured to removably receive electrical contacts therein through the rear end. The deflectable latch of the finger clip in the corresponding contact cavity is configured to engage a retention shoulder of the electrical contact to removably secure the electrical contact in the contact cavity. The electrical contacts held in the contact housing are configured to mate with corresponding mating contacts of a mating connector.

摘要： An electrical connector system including a connector having a terminal cavity within. The cavity has a rigid floor with a lock nib extending into the cavity, a first flexible beam extending into a rearward portion of the cavity and a second flexible beam extending into a forward portion. The first and second beams both overlie the floor. The system further includes a terminal having a top surface and a bottom surface defining a rigid lock edge. The terminal is received in the cavity such that the first beam engages a rearward portion of the top surface of the terminal and the second beam engages a forward portion of the top surface, thereby biasing the terminal towards the floor. The lock edge engages the lock nib, thereby preventing the terminal from being inadvertently withdrawn from the terminal receiving cavity. The connector may be formed by an additive manufacturing process.

摘要： Wire-stripping and crimping pliers twist a stranded cable end with bars projecting into a pliers mouth at free ends of pliers jaws and crimp a cable end region with a ferrule using a ram guided in a cassette in a pliers legs crossing region and running into a die due to a closing force upon pressing the legs together, to compress the ferrule in the die. First and second moldings on the jaws project into the mouth. A forced lock has a pawl and a toothed segment on the moldings preventing the pliers from opening without the ram previously running against the ferrule. The toothed segment on the first molding has a course corresponding to a movement curve of the jaws. The pawl on the second molding is movable by a spring but fixed in position. The first and/or second molding is formed in one piece with the bars.

摘要： A tool for compressing a connector onto a coaxial cable includes a pair of gates, a plunger for compressing the connector against the gates and onto the coaxial cable, and an actuator in communication with the gates and the plunger. When the actuator is moved from a first position to a second position, it causes the gates to move from an open to a closed position in which they retain the coaxial cable and brace the connector, and the plunger moves from a first position to a second position in which it engages the connector to compress the connector against the gates and onto the coaxial cable. When the actuator is moved back to its first position, the gates move to their open position thereby releasing the coaxial cable and the plunger moves to its first position thereby disengaging from the connector.
