摘要： An electric motor is provided including a stator, an armature rotatably received within the stator and having an armature shaft on which a commutator is mounted, and a brush assembly. The brush assembly includes a planar portion disposed around the commutator and accommodating a plurality of brushes, a bridge portion disposed at an end of the commutator and extending from the planer portion via two or more legs, and metal routing(s) disposed on or within the bridge portion to electrically couple the brushes.

摘要： An induction motor or generator assembly for converting either of an electrical input or rotating work input to a mechanical/rotating work or electrical output. An outer annular arrayed component is rotatable in a first direction and includes a plurality of magnets arranged in a circumferentially extending and inwardly facing fashion according to a first perimeter array, the outer component further incorporating a rotating shaft projecting from a central location. An inner concentrically arrayed and reverse rotating component exhibits a plurality of outwardly facing and circumferentially spaced array of coil-subassemblies opposing the magnetic elements, such that a gap separates the coil-subassemblies from the magnets. The coil sub-assemblies each include a plurality of concentrically arrayed coils configured within a platform support of the inner component. A fixed commutator has a plurality of annular extending and individually insulated segments, a similar plurality of outer rotating brushes in continuous contact with the commutator segments.

摘要： [Problem] To reduce the size of a linear actuator motor without increasing the operating noise thereof, and to thereby achieve a quieter, more compact linear actuator. [Solution] A linear actuator including: a shaft that is rotated in the forward and reverse directions by a motor via a double start worm and a worm wheel; a screw nut that is screwed and mounted to the shaft; and a piston tube that is fixed to the screw nut and that advances or retreats in accordance with the rotation of the shaft. The motor includes: a four-pole magnet; an armature formed by lap winding an armature coil; a commutator; brushes that are vertically arranged at positions offset by approximately 90°; and an equalizer for connecting coils in the armature coil that are to undergo potential equalization.

摘要： An oil lubricated compressor having a universal motor, efficient starting and re-starting characteristics, and a long operating life. The oil lubricated compressor can have a brushed or brushless universal motor which can drive a cooling fan and a pump. The universal motor can achieve a high torque to voltage ratio, as well as a high torque to current ratio, upon starting or re-starting of the compressor. Optionally, the oil lubricated compressor can use a single cooling fan disposed in the compressor at a location which is between the universal motor and a cylinder head of the pump.
