摘要： A system for controlling an electric motor by implementing a synchronized bidirectional rotary dual active bridge, comprising a rotary transformer having a primary side and a secondary side; a first inverter being a first full active bridge, connected between an AC power source and the primary side; a second inverter being a second full active bridge, connected to the secondary side and feeding current to the rotor of the electric motor via the secondary side; a control circuit, for continuously transmitting, via the rotary transformer, synchronization pulses at the switching frequency of the inverters, to operate the second full active bridge independent of the first full active bridge; processing the synchronization pulses to obtain an essentially square wave signal that independently operates the second full active bridge to feed the rotor with predetermined current originated from passing power from the AC power source to the second full active bridge, via the rotary transformer; At the primary side, controlling the phase and the operating duty cycle of the first full active bridge, being in synchronization with the synchronization pulses, to thereby vary the current provided by the second full active bridge to the rotor.

摘要： A motor control system determines an operating point for controlling an electric motor in an electric system that includes a battery and an electronic control unit. The motor control system includes a calibrator having an input for receiving a battery voltage of the battery, a motor speed, and a requested torque of the electric motor. The calibrator calculates a modified speed based on the received battery voltage, motor speed and requested torque. An operating point controller has an input for receiving a fixed battery voltage reference, the modified speed and the requested torque. The operating point controller determines the operating point for controlling the electric motor based on the received fixed battery voltage reference, the modified speed, and the requested torque.

摘要： A electromagnetic machine system includes a rotor and a stator positioned about the rotor. A current injection mechanism is coupled with windings of the stator and structured to inject electrical currents therein so as to change a flux distribution of a magnetic field produced by the stator. The injected currents may be harmonic currents. The rotor further includes an inductor positioned to interact with the magnetic field when the flux distribution is changed, to produce an electrical excitation current for exciting windings in the rotor. The machine system may be a synchronous motor or generator, and may be brushless. Applications of the current injection strategy to direct torque control and vector control are also disclosed.

摘要： A rotation angle estimation apparatus includes: a high-frequency voltage setting unit that sets high-frequency voltages; a circuit operating unit that operates an electric power conversion circuit to apply each of the high-frequency voltages to a corresponding one of winding groups of a rotating electric machine; and a rotation angle estimating unit that estimates a rotation angle of the rotating electric machine based on at least one of high-frequency currents that flow in the winding groups upon application of the high-frequency voltages to the winding groups. Moreover, the high-frequency voltage setting unit sets the high-frequency voltages based on the spatial phase difference between the winding groups so that in a fixed coordinate system of the rotating electric machine, the magnitude of a resultant vector of a plurality of high-frequency voltage vectors, which are respectively applied to the winding groups, becomes smaller than the magnitude of each of the high-frequency voltage vectors.
