摘要： An exemplary multipath feedforward amplifier includes a plurality of amplification stages configured to form at least partially distinct amplification paths extending from an input terminal to an output terminal, each amplification path defined by a respective subset of the plurality of amplification stages, wherein at least one amplification stage is a band pass resonator. In various implementations, multipath feedforward amplifier can maximize gain at a frequency of interest by having an amplification path that cascades band pass resonators. In various implementations, the plurality of amplification paths are configured to optimize gain at a center frequency ranging from about 2 GHz to about 3 GHz.

A baseband controller pre-distorts the envelope tracking reference signal responsive to distortion caused by the envelope tracking power supply modulator. For instance, the pre-distortion may modify the nominal envelope tracking reference signal so that, after the modulator acts on the modified reference signal, the output of the modulator has increased linearity.

According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, power amplification efficiency and data transmission efficiency are improved by applying carrier aggregation and envelope tracking.

摘要： A low-noise amplifier is provided that includes an input amplifier stage coupled to a plurality of independently switchable output amplifier stages. The input amplifier stage is operative to amplify an input communications signal, and it provides both an amplified communications signal and a feedforward signal. The amplified communications signal and the feedforward signal both include a distortion component. Each of the switchable output stages is operative to provide an output that combines the feedforward signal with the amplified communications signal in such as way that the distortion components of the signals at least partially cancel one another. In some embodiments, the switching of the output amplifier stages is performed by circuitry that also serves to improve reverse isolation of the separate output amplifier stages.
