    • A signal processor comprises a reference voltage circuit (RVC) for imposing a reference voltage (VR) onto a capacitance (Cr). The reference voltage circuit (RVC) comprises a negative slope module (NSM) for providing a negative slope signal (SN), which has a magnitude that decreases when a voltage that is present on the capacitance (Cr) increases. A positive slope module (PSM) provides a positive slope signal (SP), which has a magnitude that increases when the voltage that is present on the capacitance (Cr) increases. A minimum selection module (MSM) controls a maximum current (IMX) that the reference voltage circuit (RVC) can apply to the capacitance (Cr) substantially in dependence on the negative slope signal (SN), if the magnitude of the negative slope signal (SN) is smaller than that of the positive slope signal (SP). The minimum selection module (MSM) controls the maximum current substantially in dependence on the positive slope signal (SP), if the magnitude of the positive slope signal (SP) is smaller than that of the negative slope signal (SN).

    • In order to minimize signal influences on the reference potential in a rail-to-rail amplifier arrangement this arrangement comprises a first differential amplifier which comprises a first and a second transistor whose emitters are coupled to a reference potential via a common first resistor, the collector of the first transistor forming the output node of the amplifier arrangement, a second differential amplifier to whose input side the input signal of the amplifier arrangement is applied, whose output side is coupled to the base of the first transistor of the first differential amplifier, and having an inverting input coupled to the output node of the amplifier arrangement, a first current mirror circuit having an input transistor to which a reference current is applied, having an output transistor which is formed by the second transistor of the first differential amplifier, and having the emitter side of both transistors coupled to a reference potential, and a second current mirror circuit to whose input side the output signal of the first current mirror circuit is applied and whose output side is coupled to the output node of the amplifier arrangement, which second current mirror circuit has two transistors coupled to a supply potential at the emitter side, which transistors are scaled in such a manner that the current supplied by the amplifier arrangement at its output side is twice as large as the input current applied to the arrangement.

    • In an amplifier, a first stage receives a differential input voltage, which is formed by first and second input voltages, and outputs a first differential current in response thereto on first and second lines having respective first and second line voltages. A second stage receives the first and second line voltages and outputs a second differential current in response thereto on third and fourth lines having respective third and fourth line voltages. A third stage receives the third and fourth line voltages and outputs an output voltage in response thereto. A slew boost circuit detects a slew condition, in which a threshold difference arises between the first and second input voltages, and outputs a slew current in response thereto for maintaining a slew rate of the output voltage during the slew condition. The first stage includes circuits for reducing a variable difference between the first and second line voltages.
