    • An air purifier (10) is disclosed which includes a housing (11) having a top wall with a schedule indicator (14). The housing top wall has a central recess (16), an annular inner groove (18) positioned concentrically about the central well, and an annular outer groove (20) positioned concentrically about the inner groove. An annular plateau (28) is formed between the inner groove and the outer groove. A first reset ring (31) is positioned within the outer groove for rotational movement therein. The first reset ring includes two inwardly extending timing indicating tabs (32) and (33). A second reset ring (35) is positioned within the inner groove for rotational movement therein. The second reset ring includes two outwardly extending timing indicating tabs or indicators (36) and (37). A knob (43) coupled to a power switch (45) is positioned within the central well for rotational movement therein.

    • A clock pulse control device for address allocation of a read-only memory in a small size sequence controller in which data stored in the read-only memory are read out sequentially to operate an output relay during a time interval in accordance with the stored data, and the relay controls a load. Clock pulses generated by a frequency-dividing clock pulse generator (30) are applied to presetable down counters (33) and (34) in which the clock pulses are divided down to pulses each having a time period corresponding to the preset value. The divided pulses are applied to a binary counter (29). The outputs of the binary counter (29) are delivered to the read-only memory provided outside from address lines (Q1)-(Q7) via a connector (10) to allocated addresses of the read-only memory sequentially. Predetermined data are stored in the read-only memory in advance and the data of the allocated addresses are delivered to operate the output relay. The time period of the pulses to be applied to the binary counter (29) may be varied by changing-over a selecting switch (6) or changing the preset value of the presettable down counters (33) and (34).

    • There is described a programmable electronic timer for control of household or industrial appliances, machines or lighting. The user of said device operates only a single momentary push button to perform all operation and programming steps. Optionally the device includes an indicator light for status feedback to the user. The single button serves as an on/off switch and programming input. When pressed the button turns the connected device off if it was previously on or alternately turns the connected device on if it was previously off. On and off button actions and the time during a 24 hour day that each occurred are recorded by the device. This record becomes the programmed sequence in the timer. On subsequent days the device repeats all on and off recorded events without user action.

    • A drive unit comprises a switching circuit and an abnormal signal generating circuit. The switching circuit is configured to be connected to an external time generating circuit, and is configured to switch a driving condition relating to a driving voltage of a voltage-driven element in a transitional period between a driving state and a non-driving state of the voltage-driven element based on a measurement time which is measured by using of the time generating circuit. The abnormal signal generating circuit is configured to generate an abnormal signal when an accurate measurement of the time using the time generating circuit is not executed.
