摘要： Image data relating to real-world objects or persons is collected from a scene while collecting audio data relating to the real-world objects or persons from the same scene. The audio data is used to derive sound objects corresponding to the real-world objects or persons. The image data is used to derive video objects corresponding to the real-world objects or persons. Based on the sound objects and the video objects, candidate salient objects are generated. A salient object is selected from among the candidate salient objects. Perceptual enhancement operations are performed on the selected salient object.

摘要： A method includes, through a digital platform, encoding a digital media file related to a message from a publisher with decodable data, generating a modified digital media file therefrom, capturing, through a client application of a mobile device of a client user, the modified digital media file playing on a broadcasting device to generate capture data therefrom, and generating a response action of the client user based on analyzing the capture data. The method also includes associating the response action to the message of the publisher, automatically interpreting, through the client application, the modified digital media file to decode the decodable data therein, enabling initiation of the response action without interrupting an experience of concurrent sensing of media content through the broadcasting device by the client user, and providing a capability to the client user to control data thereof generated through the initiated response action.

摘要： Apparatus and methods conforming to the present invention comprise a method of controlling playback of an audio signal through analysis of a corresponding close caption signal in conjunction with analysis of the corresponding audio signal. Objection text or other specified text in the close caption signal is identified through comparison with user identified objectionable text. Upon identification of the objectionable text, the audio signal is analyzed to identify the audio portion corresponding to the objectionable text. Upon identification of the audio portion, the audio signal may be controlled to mute the audible objectionable text.

摘要： Systems, methods, and media for providing an advertisement in correspondence with a radio broadcast are provided. A radio broadcast receiver receives the radio broadcast. An audio output outputs the radio broadcast as an audio signal. A display controller determines an advertisement for display in correspondence with the audio signal. A display is configured to display the advertisement, and a processor controls a movement within the advertisement during the display of the advertisement on the display. The movement is controlled in accordance with a speed of motion determined by the processor.

摘要： A system, method, and computer readable medium for monitoring a communication, and providing users with information retrieved from one or more data sources that may be relevant to the communication. An information module monitors a communication associated with at least one remote client by receiving either all (or a portion of) the communication as input. The information module then analyzes the communication to filter out and produce a running list of words that may define the context or key topics of the communication. One or more of the topic words are then used as search terms in a search executed against one or more data sources. The search results may then be forwarded to the remote client in real-time, according to one or more specified parameters. In this regard, a user of a remote client does not have to formulate their own search terms, or even activate the search, while engaged in a communication. By coupling the information module to one or more data sources, a user of a remote client may be presented with access to knowledge reports of experts, various documents, information, or other resources relevant to the context of the communication to which they may currently be associated. This empowers the user with knowledge and expertise sources that match the evolution of the topic(s) of the communication.
