摘要： A method for processing a digital audio broadcast signal in a radio receiver, includes: receiving a hybrid broadcast signal; demodulating the hybrid broadcast signal to produce an analog audio stream and a digital audio stream; and using a normalized cross-correlation of envelopes of the analog audio stream and the digital audio stream to measure a time offset between the analog audio stream and the digital audio stream. The time offset can be used to align the analog audio stream and the digital audio stream for subsequent blending of an output of the radio receiver from the analog audio stream to the digital audio stream or from the digital audio stream to the analog audio stream.

摘要： A method for processing a digital audio broadcast signal in a radio receiver includes: receiving a digital audio broadcast signal; demodulating the digital audio broadcast signal to produce an analog audio stream and a digital audio stream; determining a digital signal quality value for the digital audio stream; blending an output of the radio receiver from the analog audio stream to the digital audio stream when the digital signal quality value exceeds an adaptive analog-to-digital threshold value; and blending the output of the radio receiver from the digital audio stream to the analog audio stream when the digital signal quality value falls below an adaptive digital-to-analog threshold value, wherein the adaptive digital-to-analog threshold value is lower than the adaptive analog-to-digital threshold value.

An example method according to the disclosure includes receiving one or more FM broadcast signals in a common channel (Co-C) situation and provides for receiving one or more FM broadcast signals, selecting a preferred signal and outputting said signal as an IF signal. The method provides for the speaker to play the plurality of songs.

Also provided is a digital radio receiver system and method for scanning for broadcast services in a broadcast signal to generate an alternative broadcast service list for use in controlling the digital radio receiver system. A digital radio receiver utilizes spectrum awareness data, which includes data defining one or more frequencies at which broadcast services may be receivable, in order to faster selection of an alternative broadcast service from an alternative broadcast service list containing data relating to alternative broadcast services that are linked by a relationship to other broadcast services. By using the spectrum awareness data, only entries that are considered valid (i.e. entries that are determined to be alternative services that the receiver may receive) are retrieved from the alternative broadcast service list, which reduces the time taken for a receiver to switch to an alternative broadcast service from an initially received broadcast service.

摘要： A digital data stream comprises alternating groups of information blocks and groups of parity blocks, each group of information blocks includes multiple information blocks and each group of parity blocks includes multiple parity blocks. An apparatus for receiving a digital data stream comprises a demodulator that receives and demodulates a digital data stream. An equalizer compensates for distortions in the digital data stream. A delay buffer generates a first stream of digital data representing the compensated digital data stream and a second stream of digital data representing a delayed version of the compensated digital data stream. A forward error correction block receives and processes the first and second streams of digital data from the delay buffer, and outputs an error corrected stream of digital data. A transport block receives and processes the error corrected stream from the forward error correction block for display.
