摘要： Embodiments include a sensor node, a method of forming the sensor node, and a vehicle with a communication system that includes sensor nodes. A sensor node includes an interconnect with an input connector, an output connector, and an opening on one or more sidewalls. The sensor node also includes a package with one or more sidewalls, a top surface, and a bottom surface, where at least one of the sidewalls of the package is disposed on the opening of interconnect. The sensor node may have a control circuit on the package, a first millimeter-wave launcher on the package, and a sensor coupled to the control circuit, where the sensor is coupled to the control circuit with an electrical cable. The sensor node may include that at least one of the sidewalls of the package is crimped by the opening and adjacent and co-planar to an inner wall of the interconnect.

摘要： A method for controlling a suspension component of a vehicle, in which a control unit of the suspension component continuously generates a plurality of control requirements according to a generation clock frequency, each requirement comprising a control value, for an actuator of the suspension component. A bus system of the vehicle continuously transmits to the actuator the control requirements generated by the control unit according to a transmission clock frequency. The actuator calculates a target output value for the suspension component from the control value of each transmitted control requirement and an actual output value of the suspension component, and adjusts the suspension component corresponding to the calculated target output value.

摘要： A vehicle control system includes a controller that communicates between a first vehicle and a second vehicle and/or a monitoring device in a vehicle system. The controller determines a communication loss and, responsive to determining the communication loss, switches to communicating via a different communication path. The controller also determines an operational restriction on movement of the vehicle system based on the communication loss that is determined, obtains a transitional plan that designates operational settings of the vehicle system at one or more different locations along a route being traveled by the vehicle system, different distances along the route being traveled by the vehicle system, and/or different times. The controller automatically changes the movement of the vehicle system according to the operational settings designated by the transitional plan to reduce the movement of the vehicle system to or below the operational restriction.

The bus connector may be configured for electrically connecting the bus to an input connector of a node. The node may include a bus termination resistance. The bus connector may include a first bus output pin, a second bus output pin and configurable first and second termination resistor pins. The configurable first and second termination resistor pins may be configurable to provide a first termination configuration and a second termination configuration. The first termination configuration may electrically interconnect the first and second bus output pins arid the configurable first and second termination resistor pins to electrically connect the bus termination resistance for terminating the bus. The second termination configuration may include an open electrical circuit between the first and second bus output pins and the configurable first and second termination resistor pins.

摘要： Electric Vehicle Service Equipment (EVSE) and Electric Vehicle (EV) are disclosed n. In an example embodiment, a modem is coupled to the pilot wire that couples the EVSE and the EV. The modem transmits both pulse width modulation (PWM) command signals and power line communication (PLC) signals to a remote device via the pilot wire. The modem interleaves the PWM and PLC signals on the pilot wire so that latency requirements for the PWM signals are maintained. The modem supports parallel protocol stacks in which PLC signals are processed in a first path and PWM signals are processed in a second path that bypasses the first path and provides the PWM signals directly to a MAC layer. The modem may create a modified frame for the PLC signals to maintain the latency requirements.
