摘要： A receiver to generate a first vector of a first sequence of a portion of symbols of a signal. The receiver further generates a second vector of a second sequence of the portion of symbols, wherein the second sequence comprises a flipped version of the first sequence. Based at least in part on the first vector and the second vector, a decision including a sequence of one or more bits that represent at least a portion of the signal and a confidence level corresponding to the decision are generated.

摘要： Wireless communications systems and methods related to over-the-air uplink-downlink (UL-DL) reciprocity calibration. A central unit transmits downlink (DL) calibration reference signal (RS) and a calibration request. The central unit receives, in response to the calibration request, a first uplink (UL) calibration RS and a first DL channel estimate associated with a first transmission point (TP) and a first wireless communication device. The central unit transmits a DL coordinated multipoint (CoMP) joint transmission signal according to an uplink-downlink (UL-DL) reciprocity calibration. The UL-DL reciprocity calibration is based on at least a first UL channel estimate based on the first UL calibration RS, the first DL channel estimate, a second UL channel estimate associated with a second TP and the first wireless communication device, and a second DL channel estimate associated with the second TP and the first wireless communication device.

The modulation module includes a high rate (HR) bit sequence generator configured to generate a first high rate bit sequence, encoder circuitry configured to encode a first low rate bit stream, the first low rate bit stream comprising backchannel information, and modulation circuitry configured to modulate the encoded first low rate bit stream onto the first high rate bit sequence. The network controller further includes transmit circuitry configured to transmit the modulated first HR bit sequence to a link partner during a link initialization period.

For example, the method may include generating a group of binary data bits for resources of each layer of a plurality of layers, mapping the group of binary data bits of each layer of the plurality of layers to respective code words in a signal constellation, combining the code words, and transmitting the combined code word to receiver in the wireless network. As such, the multilayer transmission in a wireless network is achieved.

摘要： Embodiments are provided to enable downlink open-loop multi-user coordinated multipoint (MU-CoMP) transmission using sparse code multiple access (SCMA). In an embodiment, a network controller selects, in a cluster of multiple transmission points (TPs) and multiple user equipment (UEs), a MU-CoMP with SCMA transmission mode and a UE paring scheme for data transmission from a set of TPs to a set of UEs. The controller schedules the set of UEs for data transmission from the set of TPs, including coordinating and allocating, for each TP in the set of TPs, a plurality of SCMA layers to the UEs in accordance with the selected MU CoMP with SCMA transmission mode. The controller also determines values for control signaling based on the scheduling. The control signaling configures the set of UEs to detect the data transmission from the TPs.
