摘要： A pairing must be performed between a terminal, referred to as terminal to be paired, and a user account for a service implemented by at least one device connected to a first communication network. The terminal to be paired is connected via a second communication network to a gateway which interconnects the first and second communication networks by performing an address translation by means of a public address routable on the first communication network. A pairing device performs steps: of obtaining (3.2) said public address; of detecting (3.4) an access to said user account, said access being performed from another terminal (1.2), distinct from the terminal to be paired; of obtaining (3.5) the address of said other terminal; of pairing (3.6) the terminal to be paired and said user account if the address of said other terminal coincides with said public address.

摘要： A system, method, and computer program product through which address resolution is performed for nodes of a network that are behind a network address translator (NAT). A determination is made upon the initiation of a communication session as to whether one or more of the nodes included in the session are behind a NAT. Based on the determination, information is exchanged from an independent application server to the nodes included in the session so as to resolve the addressing problems introduced by the NAT. The invention is applicable in applications including, but not limited to, IP telephony, and applications complying with the session initiation protocol (SIP).

The configuration includes receiving, by a computer device, a packet comprising a predetermined value indicating support by a node for an extension of a communications protocol, wherein the communications protocol is used for communications across a network translator device and the extension is capable of traversing network address translation, and in response to said receiving, determining that the node sending the packet supports the extension of the communications protocol.

In response to a request for a content asset, a placeholder classifier may be created. The placeholder classifier may be used to allocate resources for providing the content asset to the client from a content server. The content server may communicate with the client, traversing the NAT device to identify a destination address and port for the client to which the content will be provided. The placeholder classifier may then be updated with the destination address and port.

摘要： Handling of multiple connections during NAT traversal for a node behind a symmetric NAT is disclosed. The likelihood of connection failure during symmetric NAT traversal may be reduced by serializing critical time windows after port prediction. Once a connection request has been sent for a first connection, port prediction for a subsequent connection may be delayed until a connectivity check has begun for the first connection. This process may be repeated to handle NAT traversal for multiple simultaneous connections to different nodes.

摘要： This invention provides a method for providing network security services, such as those provided by the IPSEC protocol, through network address translation (NAT). The method is based on determining the transformations that occur on a packet and compensating for the transformations. Because only TCP and UDP protocols work through NATs, the IPSEC AH/ESP packets are encapsulated into UDP packets for transport. Special operations are performed to allow reliable communications in such environments.
